A glazed ceramic pot by Grayson Perry in the National Portrait Museum, London. His comment on this artwork: Jack & John are a white gay couple who have adopted a mixed race child, Shea. A complex mixture of identity issues are highlighted by this very contemporary version of the family. Because they are not a typical nuclear family, Jack & John are consequently very aware of the process of good parenting. I think that they teach us an important lesson: we should not take it for granted that we naturally know how to love & raise a child well, it needs thought & practice to get it right.

9. Decade Decadence team Misfits
I found this picture of Star Wars figures from the 2010 catalogue made out of mostly pretty basic bricks. (Comiccon builds I believe)
So I looked for tv-shows that were popular back then. I liked the first seasons of Modern family very much, especially Haley, Phil and Gloria. I found a picture which I started to recreate in Lego. But Cameron looked a bit boring, so instead I build Fizbo, his clown alterego. My favorite figures are Phil, Mitch, Manny and Luke.
