During one of our group life drawing sessions we managed to convince this very unwilling fella to be our model, since the one we had hired never showed. He did a fantastic job, and over the course of the afternoon began to actually enjoy himself. When we arrived home however, my husband declared that it was fun but a tough way to earn a living. He has not modeled since. This was one of my sketches resulting from that afternoon.
OK so super jealous of my mate Steve's new toy. Original paint 1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod with a 350 Goodwrench Chevy engine, beautifully rebuilt chassis. Lucky bugger.
Ask enough bees to stand on top of a flower and pose for a picture and you will finally find one that will.

On the Photokina 2016 Fuji invited many of their ambassadors to give a one hour workshop. One of them was Trevor Yerburny. If you google him, you wil find out that he is a great artist. In his workshop about portrait photography he showed his theory on a beautiful model. What he did with one studiolight and before a black background, I tried to do without. Thank you mr. Yerburny for your excellent lecture ... and model.
