The 1957 Chevrolet pickup truck is one of the most iconic American classic trucks ever produced. Part of Chevrolet's legendary Task Force Series (produced from 1955 to 1959), the 1957 model is highly sought after by collectors, hot-rodders, and vintage enthusiasts alike. Often called an Apache, Chevrolet didn't start badging them as such until 1958.
Features a bold open-grille design with distinctive dual headlights and an integrated bumper. Distinctive dual spears on the hood house the turn signals, mimicking the look of the popular 1957 Chevy Bel Air sedan.
The windshield is a dramatic, panoramic wraparound glass design. The bed is built with a classic wooden plank floor lined with steel dividing strips.
It was available in standard small-window or highly prized "Big Back Window" panoramic configurations.
In 1957, buyers could choose from four reliable factory engine configurations:
- 235.5 cu in (3.9L) Thriftmaster Inline-6: Producing 140 horsepower.
- 265 cu in (4.3L) "Turbo-Fire" V8: Producing 162 horsepower.
- 283 cu in (4.6L) V8 (2-barrel): Producing 185 horsepower.
- 283 cu in (4.6L) V8 (4-barrel): Producing 220 horsepower.
Popular Models 3100 Series: The most common 1/2-ton short-bed variant, popular for modern "restomod" custom builds.
3200 Series: The 1/2-ton long-bed variant, designed for heavier work.
Cameo Carrier: A rare, premium trim featuring fiberglass flush-side cargo beds instead of traditional stepsides, considered a forerunner to modern luxury trucks.
On the Photokina 2016 Fuji invited many of their ambassadors to give a one hour workshop. One of them was Trevor Yerburny. If you google him, you wil find out that he is a great artist. In his workshop about portrait photography he showed his theory on a beautiful model. What he did with one studiolight and before a black background, I tried to do without. Thank you mr. Yerburny for your excellent lecture ... and model.

A cool record that I keep looking at, her relaxed appearance, this photo has the right power.
Regardless of whether I work on location, I mainly look at the shadows instead of the light.
In this photo, I used a new lighting setup. I have placed two studio lamps on the right side, the first lamp, I have pointed straight up, placed high and equipped with a large umbrella, this provides a hair light, as for profile lighting, the second studio lamp, is at eye level from her and has the function as fill light.
I wonder what she's thinking...
I have an 80 year old photographer as a mentor, and since the pool we were using was near his condo, he dropped in. Frank is a retired veteran of photography, so when he is on the scene, I like to get him to help. Frank's specialty was photographing women, and his nickname was Hef, so, well, he is quite at home working with a swimsuit model. I forgot to tell him that Page had some reservations about looking like she fell out of a Playboy magazine. So I thought she might be a bit hesitant when he was coaching her in cleavage enhancing poses like this one. But the professional that Page is, she never wavered, and even looks like she is having some fun.
She's probably thinking - "My boyfriend's really going to like this."
