My fantastic model is leaving Hawaii soon :( ...and this was the result of our last photoshoot in Ewa Beach [Sunday, July 15th, 2007] . Out of 202 images--40 of them 'graduated' to keepers-which is quite an accomplishment. This particular shot is one of my fave's tho.

Meadfoot in Torquay, Devon has some great spots for photography. This is a location I spent many a happy year in my younger days. It was a nice choice for a model photoshoot.

These are all the LEGO models I built in 2010. Until I compiled these pictures, I felt I had a bit of a slow year. In particular in the last half of the year, when I started a new job in another part of the country and spent most of my time about 300 km from my LEGO collection, I haven't been building much of anything. However, I managed to crank out 27 LEGO models after all, which isn't bad.
Yes, I know, You'd rather see pictures of new models than collections of pictures of models you've already seen, but I've seen a few people do these in the last few days and like the idea. And anyway, I am going to be permanently reunited with my collection in about a month and have plenty of ideas for new stuff:
-a large 1/36 aircraft (most likely a B-52)
-a minifig scale WW-II bomber (most likely a B-17)
-a 1/22 scale jet fighter (most likely an F-16)
-a 1/22 scale helicopter (most likely an AH-64)
-a 1/22 scale infantry fighting vehicle (most likely an M2 Bradley)
-a 1/22 scale truck with stepframe trailer and back-hoe loader (currently already under construction)
-more buildings for Brickston Borough
-plenty of cars for the upcoming LUGNuts challenges, of course.
Happy 2011!
