Sunday I did a model shoot for two models from the Riverside area. We shot at my studio and at a few outdoor locations around Palm Desert. I think it went pretty well, we got lots of great photos and had a fun time doing it. These guys were a couple of characters, lots of fun to work with.

Remington Model 8 Ready for disassembly. Make sure firearm is un-loaded (double-check the chamber!) and take the rifle off 'safe' and lock back the bolt carrier.
These models came with my sons Halo Reach Game, and this is when I started to enjoy Toy Photography. I wanted a warm Glow, and the picture reminds me somehow of early morning sunshine. A vivitar 2800 fitted with a yellow filter and a stofen lit the subject. No fill in light.
I like the effect the stofen gives. This shot is also took with a film camera zoom lens. They tell you
the results may not be very good, but I'm happy with the result!
Every autumn the Marine Institute has a model boat building and racing competition for Junior and High school students. Always fun!
Researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory are trying to create new economic models that will provide policymakers with more realistic pictures of different types of markets so they can better avert future economic catastrophe.
