My friend, Ivan, held a workshop at a studio in Franklin Park, Illinois called "Photographic Impressions". It was a cool place with a typical studio section with the backgrounds and such. But, the rest is a house. An actual house with different rooms set up for different types of photos (including a working kitchen and a bathroom with a clawed foot tub). There were three of us photographers and only two sets of triggers for the flash units, so we took turns.
And, of course, it was a lot of fun!

Die Bewerbung um den Bau einer 55m hohen Christusstatue in der Stadt Kaufbeuren im Allgäu hat in der Kleinstadt für viel Empörung gesorgt (siehe den Link unten). Nun demonstrierten einige unbekannte Einwohner des Dorfes Kemnat, wo die Statue errichtet werden soll, anhand einer in nur 5 Stunden errichteten, 10m hohen Statue das ungefähre Aus-/Übermaß selbiger.
Diese Modelstatue wurde mit großer Sorgfalt errichtet und auch die künstlerischen Aspekte kamen nicht zu knapp und entsprechen von der Qualität schon fast der des großen Vorbildes. Auch der Standort wurde gezielt selektiert und liegt nur wenige Meter neben dem angestrebten Standpunkt des 55m hohen Christenmagneten.

Erster Test-Flug 'gen Himmel - alles funktioniert wunderbar und schon jetzt wird die überragende Figur der Statue klar.
