After visiting Budapest for model photography in May I finally sat down to finish the already 99% written blog post.
I held back one of my favourite images of the trip until last - the lovely Cynthia.. and one of if not the last photo taken.

Nikon D800 + Nikkor 35-70mm f2.8D. A great versitile lens with prime quality yet the ability to go closer (70mm) or wide (30mm). It was the original workhorse lens of wedding photographers before Nikkn released the 28-70/2.8D and then the current 24-70mm f2.8. In comparison the 35-70/2.8 is an absolute bargain!

London Photography Workshop - Day 3 - Katie
Quick snap of Katie in the park this morning before we went to the appartment to get changed. Excuse the sign behind. I was teaching how to use a reflector for fill light even on an overcast day (here using the white side). It was day 3 of a 3 day London photography workshop and Katie joined us from the south coast.
I pretty much kept the 1950s Leica Summarit 50/1.5 on the M9 for the full 3 days to keep it simple. I kept the Leica Summilux ASPH 50mm f1.4 lens on my film M3 as knew we would be doing low light photography.
Looking forward to my next trip to Ukraine.. :) following on from the digital photos from Poland, here is another from my last trip in Ukraine
Leica M 240 + Summicron 50mm f2 v5 + Daylight
The Summicrron v5 was missing morre than hitting on this trip and to my annoyance I found it only focuses to about 0.8m-infinity accurately.. I used to shoot at 0.7m as much as possible as that is just how I like to shoot.
