Mais um trabalho para o pessoal do técnico de produção de moda.
O intuito da produção era mostrar a rigidez das regras na rua em plena ditadura e a liberdade que a mulher encontrava ao chegar em sua casa, a onde podia se despir de regras.

This is my first ruffle skirt for Sofia. I made it using red pinwale cord from Spotlight ($4 a metre!). The bottom ruffle is Red Marbles in the Recess range for American Jane, Moda. I didn't intend for the skirt to be quite as full as this but as I made up the pattern and measurements myself it just turned out like this. I was worried Sofia would not be able to crawl in it but as it is only knee length it doesn't actually get in the way. And I love how full it is when she is standing (which is her prefered position at the moment!).
The clip was made using Clover's small yoyo maker (my first yoyo) with some Benartex Bandana Beauties fabric. The self-covered button I made using Moda Look and Learn stripe fabric.
Finally got this Queen size quilt back from the long armers and frantically stitched down binding as winter is really starting to set in here!
Chez Moi 'Fresh Aire' 2 x charm packs and 1 x jelly roll, with a coordinating stripe for inner border and binding.
totally fast and easy - just take one charm square and sew strips from a contrasting fabric from the jelly roll. Repeat until you have enough for quilt top!

Moda Bake Shop Pinwheel Baby quilt with prairie points from Moda A Breath of Avignon. I stitched in the ditch on the body of the quilt and attempted to quilt a feather border. This was my first time doing something other than stippling, so the quilting is a little rough, but it's hard to tell now that it's washed! I really like the way it turned out. My mom's going to give this to a friend as a baby shower gift. It'll work for a boy, right?
