I made this cushion for my niece, Ava, for her sixth birthday. Fabric is Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey for Moda and medium pink bella solid. I mitred the outer stripey scarf border and it's backed with more scarves and some scooter girls. Quilting is a quarter inch each side of all seams. Finished size is 22" square.

This was a fashion photography session provided by a photography school for free! Anyone could just go and take pictures :-)
All pictures taken inside a shopping mall with stone walls and minimal studio lighting, hence the horrible background and all that light reflected from the walls :-(

Wow Moda awesome blocks and super great way to sash the quilt. While a few of the blocks were more of a challenge Love them all. Am working on it in another color scheme. Thanks for all the free patterns.

This version of my week planner is designed for two family members (each member has its own row) - half of charm pack is needed to make it (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for back and binding.
In version for four family members one charm pack is needed (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for backing and binding.
It can be also used at the office.
Corners of each square are pockets to put there cards with plan for each day of the week or another information. These corners were made from 1/4 of charms and they are sewn between the rows.
Buckle is used to indicate day of the week. When the day changes, buckle is moved to another.
Depending on weight of the buckle (mine is quite heavy) buttons for secure the strip are needed.
Machine quilted (cotton batting was used) and machine bound.
