One of my very first mobiles.Every year my father planted zinnias and tomato plants.I was inspired by some that I had grown one summer.

Sort of a “proof of concept” build... a WIP that may not progress much further.
It’s also too tall for a decent photo in my usual methods, so here’s one shot to document the idea for now. I am rather fond of it so maybe I’ll feel motivated to get some better pictures another day... I’ll at least get some close-ups of the Little swoosher for sure.

Dave: By getting all tangled up in the Christmas lights?
Bruno: Nope. More rebranding than entangling.
Dave: Rebranding?
Bruno: Yup, I'm rebranding myself as a mobile Christmas tree.
Dave: I didn't see that one coming.
Bruno: It really should have been easy to see, I'm literally making my point while covered with lights.
Dave: So, you're going to go into people's houses wearing Christmas lights. That's your bright idea?
Bruno: Yup. People love me, and they love Christmas too. The combination will be irresistible.
Dave: And what's in it for you?
Bruno: Attention, love and snacks. I'll make sure they plug me in close to the snacks then all the cookies and eggnog will be mine!

An out take from last week's photo with the tree. I do love this guy.
BA-10 on 2 axle GAZ-AA chassis, used as mobile checkpoint somewhere on Belorussian front in autumn 1944. Bodies of some BA-10 of last production series were installed on 2 axle civilian trucks chassis - GAZ-AA and ZiS-5. And some of them survived deadly battles of 1941-43.
Update of set 894/452.
So many of the really early Classic Space sets were so much more grounded in near-future science than their later counterparts, and the Mobile Tracking Station certainly fits this vibe. At the time I remember thinking the set was a bit boring and ugly, being basically a grey box on wheels; these days its more realistic near-future vibe and clear, recogniseable purpose are part of the charm.
Seeing as I seem to be on an "updated rebuilds of old Classic Space sets" kick at the moment, I couldn't resist.
Finally went for a walk up the road and got some pictures of this air raid shelter. (Picture was taken from my mobile)
A Mobile Refining Vessel, built by Civilian Engineering Corporation. It carries a myriad of refining equipment, the main of which is a collider-reactor (the green structure protruding at the rear of the ship) designed to collide isogen and puzzleium, resulting in awesomium condensates.

This was a rush build of a few hours, but lots of fun, especially considering I hadn't built anything significant in a while. It includes quite a few tablescraps, most noticeable being the collider-reactor itself.
