I made this today for a good friend, for a belated Christmas present. It's made from sea glass I found along the beaches of an island I visit in Maine each summer. The beads are a hand-selected assortment of frosted glass beads, Swarovski crystals, flourite gemstone, faceted Czech glass beads, and some other favorite glass beads.
I was so pleased with how it turned out that I just had to share with my friends here!

I've been spending most of my time at my girlfriends lately so I threw together a little mobile build setup. I picked NCS because of its mono-chromatic color scheme coupled with my recent acquisition of numerous T's and 2x4 tiles.
Last day of work this week. Woohoo! This is my bosses size 18 foot up against my womens size 10 shoe (mens 8.5).
I thought I had posted one of these before, but I guess not. This is from a few years ago in Mobile, AL. There's pretty much always a 4400 or two waiting for me at the coal dock so I get to see them every time I visit my folks. This beast of burden was lashed to two other 4400s, one of which was in dark future and looked worse than most older bright futures!
The Mobile Bay or Middle Bay Lighthouse is located off Mobile, Alabama.
A lighthouse has been on this spot since 1885. The present lighthouse was built in 1905.
The lighthouse is noteworthy in that it is one of only a couple of screw-pile lighthouses left at sea in the United States that still stand on piles screwed into a sandy bottom.
In 1935, the light was automated and the lighthouse has been vacant since that date.
The lighthouse was deactivated in 1967.
I saw the lighthouse from my cabin on the Carnival Fantasy.
