Now just knead everything together. Add more water slowly if it is too dry, but do it slowly! It is surprising how fast the mix goes from "oh, too dry" to "oops! Far too wet" it just a little too much water. Naturally, if that does happen, just add more flour.
Mixing up the ingredients is the most fun part of making play-dough. If you don't like mess, don't try this. But then again, kids love mess, so if you want to see them really enjoy themselves, give it a shot. They'll thank you for it later.
