Saraswathy Pooja is celebrated today ~ 5th of October 2011. Saraswathy is the Goddess of wisdom. Today is the eight night of Navaraathri festival.

Navaraathri literally means nine nights. The nine nights are divided into three nights each dedicated for Goddess Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathy.

Navaraathri began on 28th of September 2011. But this year only two nights were dedicated to Goddess Durga.

Special poojas are held at the temples. Hindus celebrated Saraswathy Pooja at homes at dusk. Homes were purified, decorated with fresh flower garlands and Kolam.

Many savouries such as Aval, boiled and fried chick pea, sweet rice, vadai, and variety of fruits are offered to the Goddess on this special day.

Books, equipments used for profession, musical instruments are kept in front of the deity Saraswathy for her blessings.

La Summer School de l'IHECS, organisée dans le cadre du projet ENGAGE, permettra à 60 jeunes Européens et étudiants en journalisme ou non de se retrouver à Bruxelles pour travailler ensemble sur des projets journalistiques/artistiques, et échanger leurs pratiques.

Le collectif OST a mené pendant 3 jours du 25 au 27 Juin 2018 un atelier de création de masques sur la thématique de l'identité et de la mixité. 3 goupes de jeunes de 15 à 24 ans, de belgique, d'espagne, de roumanie +++ ont participé au projet en accomplissant toutes les taches de la chaine de production du projet.

> Montage et prise de vue en studio photo, reportage, post production graphique, collage, accueil et communication avec le public, création de # et enfin présentation du projet à l'IHECS.
