Not my photo. My husband got a new smart phone and he took some shots this afternoon.
Minnie and Pascha enjoyed the afternoon sun on the table, unusually close together.

Yesterday - like 2 weeks ago - Minnie was not well, again she didn´t eat either drink. We had a vet appointment for this evening but today at noon she started eating and drinking, a little bit. I phoned with the vet tech and we decided to cancel the appointment. Minnie should eat some light diet like chicken etc. and we will watch her. We are very glad she started eating!! She is more active today.

Gestern ging es Minnie plötzlich wieder nicht gut, wie vor 2 Wochen, sie wollte nichts fressen und trinken und fühlte sich auch nicht gut. Für heute abend hatten wir einen Tierarzttermin, aber heute mittag hat sie wieder angefangen, ein bisschen was zu fressen und auch zu trinken. Deshalb haben wir nach einem Gespräch mit der Tierarztpraxis im gegenseitigen Einverständnis den Termin für heute streichen lassen. Minnie soll jetzt Schonkost essen, Hühnchen z. B. und wir werden sie beobachten. Auf jeden Fall sind wir sehr froh und erleichtert, dass es ihr wieder besser geht. Sie ist auch wieder lebhafter.

Minnie wasn´t fine over the weekend. She didn´t eat well and sat in the wardrobe for a long time. But last night she ate well and today she came to get her cuddles on the breakfast table. She also ate well, in her ususal place where she takes her meals. For the last days she only wanted to eat in the wardrobe - very strange.
Minnie ging es über´s Wochenende nicht so gut. Sie hat zum Teil gar nicht gefressen, hat hauptsächlich im Schrank gelegen (wo sie sonst auch mal gerne liegt, aber nicht stundenlang). Wenn sie was gefressen hat, dann nur im Schrank. Aber gestern abend hat sie schon gut gefressen und zwar an ihrem üblichen Fressplatz im Badezimmer. Heute morgen kam sie sogar auf den Frühstückstisch zum Schmusen, gefressen hat sie auch wieder.

Minnie has had a festering tooth for a few days now and can hardly eat. Tomorrow morning she will finally be operated on by the vet. However, due to her advanced age (17) there is a risk that she will not survive the anaesthetic well. But we have no choice, the tooth has to come out. The poor thing is suffering and I will also be glad when the treatment is over. Two years ago she already had 4 teeth removed and at that time without any problems. I really hope the same will happen this time.

Our daughter gave us a Christmas gift a small carpet with two photos of Minnie and Pascha.
At Christmas Eve Minnie went to the carpet and lay down on it. In this way she hid Pascha´s photo ;-)
Von unserer Tochter haben wir zu Weihnachten einen kleinen Vorleger/Teppich mit Fotos von Minnie und Pascha bekommen. An Heiigabend ist Minnie sofort zu dem Teppich gegangen und hat sich drauf gelegt, allerdings auf das Foto von Pascha;-)
