Update 12.10.: according to the shelter's homepage Minnie aka Soledad has already found a new familiy. I'm so happy for the sweet little girl :-)))

Pretty cuddly cat looking for loving home.
On Sunday we found this 4-5 month old very emaciated kitten in front of our house, where she was looking for our help. First she got to eat and drink. Later on she went to my neighbour's flat where she proved to be quite trusting and cuddly.
With a heavy heart we brought her to the shelter, where it now waits for a loving home. They baptized her there on Soledad (the lonely) - I had called her Minnie immediately :-)
Keeping was not an option: my neighbour unfortunately has a totally jealous dog and I am very sure that my tomcat Timmy would also be very jealous if he had to share my love :-(
Besides, we already have a very high cat density here.
Not my photo. My husband got a new smart phone and he took some shots this afternoon.
Minnie and Pascha enjoyed the afternoon sun on the table, unusually close together.
Das Foto hat mein Mann mit seinem neuen Smartphone gemacht. Minnie und Pascha geniessen die Nachmittagssonne auf dem Tisch. Es ist eher ungewöhnlich, dass sie so dicht nebeneinander liegen.

Minnie wasn´t fine over the weekend. She didn´t eat well and sat in the wardrobe for a long time. But last night she ate well and today she came to get her cuddles on the breakfast table. She also ate well, in her ususal place where she takes her meals. For the last days she only wanted to eat in the wardrobe - very strange.
Minnie ging es über´s Wochenende nicht so gut. Sie hat zum Teil gar nicht gefressen, hat hauptsächlich im Schrank gelegen (wo sie sonst auch mal gerne liegt, aber nicht stundenlang). Wenn sie was gefressen hat, dann nur im Schrank. Aber gestern abend hat sie schon gut gefressen und zwar an ihrem üblichen Fressplatz im Badezimmer. Heute morgen kam sie sogar auf den Frühstückstisch zum Schmusen, gefressen hat sie auch wieder.
Minnie was napping in hubby´s desk chair. Shen wanted to stay there and of course hubby took another chair at the desk:-)
Minnie hat auf dem Schreibtischstuhl von meinem Mann geschlafen. Natürlich wollte sie dort auch bleiben und "natürlich" hat er sich auch einen anderen Stuhl geholt:-)
Minnie has had a festering tooth for a few days now and can hardly eat. Tomorrow morning she will finally be operated on by the vet. However, due to her advanced age (17) there is a risk that she will not survive the anaesthetic well. But we have no choice, the tooth has to come out. The poor thing is suffering and I will also be glad when the treatment is over. Two years ago she already had 4 teeth removed and at that time without any problems. I really hope the same will happen this time.

Our daughter gave us a Christmas gift a small carpet with two photos of Minnie and Pascha.
At Christmas Eve Minnie went to the carpet and lay down on it. In this way she hid Pascha´s photo ;-)
Von unserer Tochter haben wir zu Weihnachten einen kleinen Vorleger/Teppich mit Fotos von Minnie und Pascha bekommen. An Heiigabend ist Minnie sofort zu dem Teppich gegangen und hat sich drauf gelegt, allerdings auf das Foto von Pascha;-)

Ich habe fotografiert, als Minnie beim Putzen war. Um ihr Gesicht besser zu sehen, kann man das Foto in gross anschauen, wenn Ihr mögt.
The other day hubby and I were playing dices "yatzhee", and Minnie jumped on to the table, messed up our little stuffed animals/toys with their Santa hats and the little decoration consisting of some painted trees and a tiny chain of lights. At the end she was rather pleased about her job;-)
Gestern als wir gekniffelt haben, ist Minnie wie üblich auf den Tisch gesprungen. Dann hat sie erstmal unsere kleinen Stofftierchen mit den Weihnachtsmützen umgeworfen, danach auch die Mini-Deko, bestehend aus angemalten Papierbäumchen und einer Mini-Lichterkette. Nach "getaner Arbeit" sah sie richtig zufrieden aus;-)
