Guthrie Theater in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Had a delicious meat at the SeaBass and saw a wonderful play at the theater. Wonderful place to visit and look forward to returning someday.

People who live in more moderate climate zones miss out on the joy us folks in the Great North experience when spring descends and touches us with light fingers. The quiet warmth of the sun that dances over blue waters and spills into tree-lined shores is a sight every human ought to experience.
Known as the βGateway to the North Shore,β Gooseberry Falls State Park near Two Harbors is well worth a stop even if your ultimate destination is farther north. Situated on the banks of Lake Superior, the park is home to five waterfalls, including three awe-inspiringβand loud!βfalls where the water of the Gooseberry River roars through a rocky gorge on its way to Lake Superior.
This Waterfall Image, as well as a vast collection of other falls, is available to order by contacting me through www.tom-clark.net/waterfalls

After leaving Davenport shortly after 7 in the morning, CP 2816 has finally made it to the River Sub, albeit over twelve hours later. The signature S-curve at the west end of Donehower siding provided the last sunlight of the day on the Hudson and train 41B flying west past the DP of a stopped eastbound freight. The crew is doing their very best to make it to the day's destination of Humboldt Yard at a reasonable time, but the approximately 400 mile trip was plagued with delays and many meets with other trains along the single track Davenport and Marquette Subdivisions.
Amtrak train #8, the eastbound Empire Builder, cruises along the shores of Lake Pepin near Maple Springs, Minnesota on August 11, 2020.
The westbound "Empire Builder" and "North Coast Limited" at Great Northern Station in Minneapolis, on a cold night in February 1969.
Surrounded by some fall color in the Minnesota River valley, an eastbound Twin Cities & Western train crosses the river on a 100+ year old bridge and enters the former Minneapolis & St Louis Railway division point town of Morton, MN. Once again, the clouds actually worked in my favor to prevent this shot from being extremely backlit at this time of day.
After finishing their work at Pokegama Yard in Superior, WI, CN 2900, 8897, 2271, and 2504 make their way northbound with a shortish M34581 09 in tow. A three-unit helper set is shoving hard at the rear of the train, only to experience PTC issues on their return trip back down Steelton Hill, making a waiting game out of what would have been a nice evening glint shot. Regardless, this was another Twin Ports spot that I crossed off my bucket list on this year's trip, and I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Taken along the CN Superior Subdivision on 7/9/21.
Hope everyone is happy today!!! :)))

MLW RS-23 at the Transfer facility in Fridley MN. Thanks to Dan and the NRHS group for the heads up. .This is rarely sitting outside at night.
After two days of driving through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and finally Minnesota, we reached the risk area; this was the Arcus cloud on the edge of the storm that raced over our heads. After this storm, we then drove to New Mexico, through South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado.
This is my second take on this scene. I used six vertical images blended together; the Arcus cloud was practically over my head at this point, giving the cloud a more angular curve.
