Sooo I finally started sewing for minifee now. It was scary but it turned out pretty good I think! :D
Minifee Ria is finally home and complete! She arrived last month from DDE without her head, DDE contacted Fairyland and I received a replacement head in the mail yesterday in addition to a couple of bonus wigs to make up for the issue. More photos of her tomorrow my camera was being annoying ^^;

It's the weekend! Yay!
I decided to re-color Mystea's furr hair using hair chalk pastels. I intensified the pink on the top, added more blue and made a purple ombre on the tips. Also, I took a cute picture of her and made fun with photo editing part. I overdid it. No regrets. *giggles*
P.S. Sorry for causing eye sores and rainbow vomits. That is the purpose! Ahihihi~

Delf Soony was probably the first BJD I fell in love with back in 2007. Actually, my first BJD was a Dollmore Kid Torrie - because I thought she looked most like Soony at a smaller size. I really do prefer smaller dolls! (I have had and passed on bigger dolls, just not for me.) I was honestly pretty happy with my crew, but I didn't have a female doll and Soony was still in the back of my mind. I considered her prohibitively expensive and too big-headed for me as a human (since all my 1/4 dolls have 5-6 or smaller heads besides weird goblin Myr).
I just sold a non-BJD on eBay that went for a shockingly high amount of money and decided that I wouldn't feel bad spending doll earnings on a doll so I went poking around for what I could get. First I learned that there was a LTF Soony and I thought it'd be cool to put her on a 1/4 body, but when the faceplate arrived, I found that the features just have a totally different vibe than I had in mind. It's a beautiful face and it'd probably still look good on a 1/4, but it's not the Soony that I wanted. But then, the same day, a US seller appeared with a MNF Soony head at a price I could still afford, so, yay! Her head IS huge but that beautiful face is worth it.
The body is a secondhand Resinsoul Rong body that I got for a very fair price as well. It's my third Resinsoul and I know what to expect at this point, haha. I really want to try an overhaul on it - my dremel hungers for more resin. I still had a little bit of auction money left over (!!) so I sprung for some in-stock jointed hands from DDE and everything came in at once, so, here she is! She needs a neck donut (she currently has... white tac...), wig (Myr's old one really doesn't fit), eyes (these are too big super high-dome glass ones), and like... everything... but I'm really happy to have her.
Someone go back to 2008 and tell me in 10 years I'd have a 1/4 size Soony and Saint!!
