Both of the minifee I bought (male and female) have one issue in common: they look up, or they look down. There is no middle ground.
I am hoping some sueding will help. I thought maybe hot glue, but I think I'lll try moleskin first to give it better sliding ability.
Oh I am so in love with my first minifee! For years I've admired them and thought they weren't for me. First off, I thought they were too big. Pullips are a bit big for me and these gals are taller but in reality they just don't seem as big, even when compared to pullips. At first I thought "omg what am I doing, msds are gigantic" but only for a little bit. I don't know how to explain it but they feel so good in hand, solid. The engineering of their bodies blows me away. I'm constantly studying how they work. I also thought they would be fragile but that seems crazy to me now. They are delicate and beautiful but they don't feel fragile. I thought for sure they would be hard to pose, I'm mean look at them, they are so tall and thin, no way they will stand on their own. I had my luka standing on one leg in about 20 secs x3. And the last thing I've always thought about minifee, and it's still true, they are expensive! You just have to save up for them. Which I'm working on... heh.
You may remember the Luka head I adopted, and then the body I bought second hand, and then I needed a neck piece... so finally she's together but this isn't just random wig and eyes. I'm enjoying this look even though it's far from her planned style. Or maybe I'm too smitten to notice she looks weird. lol xD
My Fairyland order arrived the third of may.
I really wanted a M-line body with the cutie bust (I prefer the smaller bust choices) for my Juri-13 head so I ordered it when I had the chance. I really like the M-line body so I hope that Fairyland some day in the future will offer all the bust choices again.
Aaahh, Laurie got a new friend! Little Mirwen is a Fairyland Minifee on cutie legs and medium bust, normal skin. She's perfect, but I need to find a new name for her, as I already have a Mirwen (F60)
PocketWolf is already taking care of her face :)
Working on making things to eventually put in my shop.. so today I tried making a new pattern for a shirt I previously made for Monster High doll. There are some changes I need to make to the pattern, but it does look good so far!
I'm also making her a room box, so will get around to painting that and decorating it.. sometime... @_@;
Took these photos without changing my camera settings from when I was taking photos of the shinki.. so it's still on macro.. oops. It makes very little in focus since she's so much bigger.
It's a cool effect, but I'll take better & more in focus pictures another time, with a different setting.
PS; she will FINALLY be getting her boyfriend soon ;3
