Lishe came home from Aileen at Call Me Gorgeous yesterday. Aileen did a absolutely fantastic job with Lishe's faceup and manicure! The lighting isn't great today, we have a winter storm moving in. When I get better light I will get pics of her manicure!
Lishe is a resin ball jointed doll. She is tan minifee (43cm) Lishe sculpted and cast by dollfairyland[dot]com. Hair, eyes, clothing and accessories curated by her owner, moi!

Pouch is a Minifee Siean (mod)
On the left, recast mnf bjdpifa
On the right, legit minifee
I noticed in taking their pictures for a comparison shot that my recast girl is indeed shorter. Upon closer looking, it appears to be all in the legs. I have another shot of them sitting and from that view they are equal in height.
My scale needs calibrated, so I can't get an accurate weight. But clothes and shoes fit both without any noticeable differences - other than the pants I put on the recast girl were a little long which I find adorable... :)
Oh I am so in love with my first minifee! For years I've admired them and thought they weren't for me. First off, I thought they were too big. Pullips are a bit big for me and these gals are taller but in reality they just don't seem as big, even when compared to pullips. At first I thought "omg what am I doing, msds are gigantic" but only for a little bit. I don't know how to explain it but they feel so good in hand, solid. The engineering of their bodies blows me away. I'm constantly studying how they work. I also thought they would be fragile but that seems crazy to me now. They are delicate and beautiful but they don't feel fragile. I thought for sure they would be hard to pose, I'm mean look at them, they are so tall and thin, no way they will stand on their own. I had my luka standing on one leg in about 20 secs x3. And the last thing I've always thought about minifee, and it's still true, they are expensive! You just have to save up for them. Which I'm working on... heh.
You may remember the Luka head I adopted, and then the body I bought second hand, and then I needed a neck piece... so finally she's together but this isn't just random wig and eyes. I'm enjoying this look even though it's far from her planned style. Or maybe I'm too smitten to notice she looks weird. lol xD
Tan Fairyland Minifee Rheia with model legs-I like these legs!
I need to do her faceup, but I'm not in the mood with everything that's been happening lately.
*My mother just passed away about a week ago at age 62. We love you mom & dad, we will join you someday.*
My current minifee~
Actually, I have celine but she is still blank, so I put my sleeping tika head on her body (it's a chicline body..).
And,, you can see pretty clearly how much Amaia has changed! She was actually a little pinker than the others when I first got her, back in 2008 sometime.
Her resin is much smoother too, and her joints are as 'stuck' as these three newer ones. It's weird. I definitely like fiddling with her posing more, although she does need restrung...
