London General LDP282 (LX06 FAK) heads away from Dorking station while on rail replacement due to a landslip at Ockley over Christmas.
You can just about see the Box Hill viewpoint in the background.

Muchas gracias a Mergar y Ladyaran por el tutorial de la versión mini y a Rubis63 por la idea original. Os dejo los enlaces a sus galerías, para que veais qué preciosidades tienen
Mini is a small cat but she is not a kitten. She must be at least 6 years old. She has a very loud and penetrating meow despite her diminutive frame.
This outfit is a mish mash of clothes from my other mini AG's. It is good advertisement, I think for mix and match. She is wearing Mini Julie's blouse, Mini Kit's apron, Mini Josefina's skirt, Mini Julie's peasant top and Mini Addy's water gourd carrier on her head.
I loved the Daytripper pattern but when Erin indicated she was working on a mini version, I wanted to make it so bad...and here it is. It took me a while to get started because I had to re-cut fabric. I liked this choice of fabric better than my original idea so it took me a while to get motivated and cut.
You can't really tell this is the mini by itself but trust me...it is!
I went for the adjustable straps just in case but I like the short straps too. Oh I love this bag so much! I don't know which one I like better. I wanted to show the larger Daytripper with the mini for comparison but my large Daytripper is extremely dirty from constant use. I am a bit embarrassed to show it.
This bag isn't as firm as my larger one but that is what I went for. I wanted it to be a tad bit more flexible so the only interfacing I used was the Pellon SF101 on the exterior. This fabric ravels like crazy if you're not careful so it helped keep the fibers in place.
Fabric: Upholstry fabric from Hancock Fabrics.
Interior: Red Cotton Duck (Joann's)
Mods:
-Used cotton webbing for the strap instead of making one using the fabric. I wanted to add a slightly different texture and contrast with the fabric.
-Top-stitched gusset to make it lay flatter.
AFter a very long trip - apparently ants not only like to picnic, they also like to travel! My Picnic theme mini for paulaozier FINALLY arrived. I had so much fun making this. The appliqued ants were designed from a great FQ I found, enlarged, fused and quilted, on a woven red/white background. I'm very happy with how it came out, and very glad that Paula was so patient in waiting for it!
To join the battle of "Mocer League Summer Slam", I designed this MINI Train Station using LDD in combination with Stud.io and POV-Ray. There are two types of locomotives and several different rolling stocks.
