Still some nice Canada pictures to share! This is Mina Lake in Jasper after a long day hiking in wonderful scenery with various lakes (see fi www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/21712771514). It took a while to decide if I would upload this dark/moody shot. It might fit my mood.
From 11 june till the 25th of July 2015, I traveled in Canada. Starting in Brighton Ontario, where my sister lives at the border of an amazing part of lake Ontario, I flew to Vancouver, and Vancouver island where I took the boat at Port Hardy to take part 1 of the Inside passage, to Prince Rupert in BC. Two days later I took part 2 to Skagway in Alaska, from where i took a scenic train through the Rockies to Whitehorse and further on by car to Kluane National park in the Yukon district. Whitehorse is situated at the border of the Yukon. Frow there I flew back to Vancouver, rented a car, and traveled three weeks in the BC- and Alberta Rockies, visiting the famous, and less famous Nature parks like Banff and Jasper. Last few days back to Brighton Ontario to enjoy lake Ontario once more, before going home. 4000 pictures later, it is quite a task to show the right stuff, although the stunning scenery guarantees at least a few great shots to share. Objective will be to make a book (for myself mainly), and that might take a while.
I hope you will enjoy the impression of my travel, one that equals earlier journeys to Alaska and south America, this journey was the first in the digital era, and equally intensive because of all the hiking activities every day on and on. I loved every minute of it.
A sunny and warm winter morning made for some good time to explore the coastline yesterday along with my son. The Minas Basin is an interesting site to see rock formations that are sculpted by the world's highest tides.

The foot of Economy Mountain is seen here, cradling the Minas Basin. The Minas Basin is an inlet of the Bay of Fundy and a sub-basin of the Fundy Basin located in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is known for its extremely high tides. Tides here can exceed 16 metres (56 ft.). On low tide, all you would see here is mud, no water, and people walk on the mud to harvest clams.
Situé à plus de 4000 mètres. Il fait si froid la nuit que les radiateurs des engins sont vidangés le soir. Le matin, l' Azorella compacta allumé est placé sous le moteur pour le réchauffer avant d'y refaire le plein.

Una parte del Cerrato Palentino se encuentra horadado por antiguas yeseras, con el caso de Hornillos de Cerrato (Palencia). Estas minas han estado activas desde 1914 hasta 1988.
Con motivo de la buena climatología existente en su interior, también también fueron utilizadas para el cultivo de setas y champiñones.

The redevelopment of the old port of Doha to install a cruise terminal has created a new neighborhood called MINA DISTRICT. The 4 colors that they have chosen for the buildings curiously coincide with the colors of the logo of the clothing brand Cló Sunlight Apparel (the clothing brand predates the new neighborhood).
La remodelacion del viejo puerto de Doha para instalar una terminal de cruceros, ha creado un barrio nuevo llamado MINA DISTRICT. Los 4 colores que han escogido para los edificios curiosamente coinciden con los colores del logo de la marca de ropa Cló Sunlight Apparel (la marca de ropa es anterior al nuevo barrio).
