Discovered Milo nibbling on my catnip and quickly took a few snapshots through the window. Milo likes to come to our garden, not only because of the pots with catnip but also (unfortunately) because of the bird feeders.
I've had Milo a year, he's about 7 and was fixed a month before he came here. He loves people, cats and small dogs. He doesn't like dogs that haven't been fixed and will try to dominate them. He's very bold. It would be nice to know his history.
Very slowly coming down - 92 lbs, I expected he would have lost more considering all the exercise we get.
Sure enough, I weighed him again 05/07 and he's 86.8 lbs. He drinks so much water depending on when he's filled up he could easily be a few pounds heavier. That's close enough to stop his diet.
The morning sun always provides opportunity for a portrait with Mr Milo. Milo looks as if he is acting in an English drama.

Sleeping like a baby. Our other cat, Callie, usually sleeps in this spot. At least she was there a few minutes before I took this shot. I’m not quite sure I know what happened. But I don’t think I want to know exactly what happened. Milo seems un fazed by the whole process.
9/17/13. The family is heading off for the day without me (I have some work to do), and Milo is already missing them. He's also becoming my photo-of-the-day subject again, after many days of more interesting material (sorry, Milo). Fortunately, he's photogenic.

This is Milo. He has been homeless all his life. He's 50 now. He lives in Alice B. Roosevelt Park on the Lower East Side of New York. He dresses himself from the various missions around the area. He claims that the park is crime free and says that the police credit he and his friends who live in the park for this arrangement. They sleep in the Southern end of the park during warm weather preferring it to any of the shelters in the city whose housing is far to "scary" for him. We made a date for next week for me to bring him the photographs I took of him.

I had some soup for lunch. When I'd finished, I put some water into the bowl. Milo decided it was a good idea to drink the water.
While I have been working at home during the lockdown, Milo has been keeping me company in the study on his favourite new sleeping place!
