The Swedish celebrate "Midsummer" on or near the summer solstice. It's an old Viking tradition that involves "snaps", pickled herring, and Viking drinking songs, such as the ever popular "Hell and Gore".

The Midsummer Masquerade took place at the scenic Loveland Castle, and attendees came out in all their best finery to enjoy music, acrobatics, magic and circus arts performances. Kayla Gunder and Abigail Snarr of Mason.
