Day 74 of 365: Circuitry

Last night my car died on me in the middle of an intersection. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and I suspect that the performance chip in my ECU is to blame. Either A) it’s corrupt, or B) it’s shifting in it’s mount. Either way, I swapped it out today with a stock ECU and wired chip to see if it was the cause of the slew of problems I have been having with my car. So here’s a cool macro shot of another ECU I had laying around with a bunch of cool bokeh

The Make Controller Board plugged into the Interface Board. Isn't it cute?!

This is an Atmel Atmega 8L microprocessor with what looks like an in-circuit debugger(the 6 pads) to the left.

If anyone knows what the pads are and how to connect a debugger to them email me....
