This is actually the jumper pins from the Netcomm NB1300Plus4 that allows you to put the modem into program mode.
This is a close up of the business end of a Moog Little Phatty CV Out mod (1st gen) on a Tribute edition. The Orange wire is said to be the CV Pitch output and is taken prior to the Summing of the Pitch CV; the result is that Pitch Bend and Portamento do not affect the outgoing Pitch control voltage. This is both good or bad depending on your perspective; there is a procedure to correct/circumvent this; contact Moog Music Technical support for details.

The U451 provides a simple digital i/o interface for the PC (Win/Linux) or Mac (OSX) . Two relays, six transistor outputs, and eight i/o lines from the microcontroller are provided. Commands can be sent to the U451 that change the eight i/o lines from input to output. I/o lines can be individually selected as inputs or outputs. The U451 supports commands to read the ports, and if the ports are set to output, to write to the ports.
