Decided to go back to basics and break out my old microprocessor knowledge
ATMega160 which I can program through a USB that's mapped as a serial / com output
The scope was behaving strangely, so I replaced the cpu.
I removed the old one with ChipQuik and kept it for future projects. Maybe it is not entirely bad, but only can't handle being overclocked to 20MHz. I marked it with an X.
Let's see if it did any good.
Please note that a new hardware version of this device has been released, therefore these images will most likely not apply to it.

I will explain what you see in the picture. A few days ago, I decided to clean up my computer and re-install windows. I was clever enough to make a back-up of all my files. When I treid to exchange the files from the hard disk to my computer after the reinstal... Disaster Strike! there was short in the hard disk and smoke was coming out... All my files (80GB) were gone.
After that, I bought the exact same model on the internet, I wanted to exchange the PCB, but nothing worked...
So, what do you see in the picture?
About 70 movies;
About 1000 songs
About 5000 photos (!)
About 3000 other files including 5 years of schoolwork (including exams)
I have not given up and will keep trying to save my files, if you have a sugestion, please leave them in the comments below. Thanks!
Roeland
