Remember the cow some of you called Mia? I had titled the picture MIA (for missing in action) because last autumn she didn't come back for the longest time. I liked her given name though and decided to stick with it, as I don't know what, if anything, the farmer calls her. Finally, almost winter it was, she appeared again, with her 3 kids in tow. Now, mid March, we saw she gave birth again. A little bull calf.
Not the greatest photo, it was taken with my phone at mid day, but it was rare that it wasn't surrounded by mother and siblings and therefore hidden. I went there once with the long lens but they wouldn't have it.

I was waiting for the traffic lights to change and saw her holding a puppy in her arms on the other side of the street.
"I can tell you love your dog," I said.
She smiled whole heartedly and I asked whether I could make a picture for my photo project.
She was positive about the idea and I suggested we stepped into the park, just a few meters away from where we were standing.
"I am in no hurry, we were just going for a walk," Mia said.
We spent a good enjoyable 15-20 minutes talking, getting to know each other and making photos.
Mia, 30y/o, is a psychologist. When she was a bit younger she had a column in the Swedish daily newspaper answering questions by children & teenagers. Her dream job would be to work as a therapist for youngsters.
I am sure she'll be an excellent therapist, facilitating anyone to open their heart and talk about any troubling matter. It was really easy talking with her, I liked her way of taking time to think before answering my questions.
And one more thing, she was interested to know more about me and my background and it was fun to share personal information with her.
We kept a distance at all time while talking, naturally COVID-19 was mentioned along with the changes it had inflicted upon all of us.
"My message would be," Mia said answering my habitual question:
"If you're looking for a change, go ahead and change yourself. You cannot control anyone else but yourself."
Her advice to her younger self didn't surprise me as it came up lately from other strangers:
"Don't worry too much. Make time to be in the moment."
