I will try this as an ebook from the King County Library System based on a recommendation I got on Flickr from natsuki★girl after viewing her eclectic book collection
It's amazing how fast I can address my book addiction these days - and if I like this, I'll probably get it for my Kindle - since I like to make notes and highlighting of what I read.
PS - I have decided on a location for my things that exist only in the Metaverse - which Flickr has wisly designated a "mysterious place with no name."

l'Oeuvre au Blanc
Depuis 21 ans, je sculpte, je soude, j'installe, je peins et j'utilise, tel l'Alchimiste des temps anciens, une multitude de réactifs proto-chimiques tels que l'Esprit de Sel, des principes soufrés, qui transforment la Materia Prima en support matériel de l'âme et de l'esprit qui habite chacune des œuvres.
Il fallait donc que je reprenne mes planches photographiques pour arriver à l'Oeuvre au Blanc donnant ainsi la spiritualisation de chacune des œuvres en allant chercher dans le macrocosme ou microcosme, la Materia Prima des formes, la géométrie sacrée, les couleurs et l’infra-mince qui les relient entre elles.
Pour l'exposition au cœur de la Demeure du Chaos, 999 planches seront révélées au public.
Cette Œuvre au Blanc est une forme de romantisme des fractales qui se loge dans les ruines de la Demeure du Chaos et son Alchimie secrète.
Une puissante image du "Mal du siècle".
Ce qui tombe et ce qui reste pour l’éternité.
L'homme romantique se projette dans la ruine, il y voit comme une allégorie de sa propre existence.
La ruine que Chateaubriand, promeut en véritable esthétique : « Les ruines sont plus fortes que le monument frais et entier. Les ruines permettent d'ajourer les parois et de lancer au loin le regard vers les nues, les montagnes ».
Selon lui donc, grâce aux ruines, qui sont par essence des édifices troués par le temps, « l'horizon recule ». La Demeure du Chaos est ainsi un vaste trou noir pour accéder à un univers à multiples dimensions que traduisent ces planches photographiques.
En ce sens, la ruine serait comme la condition de possibilité, ou plus précisément, le relais du regard sur le paysage.
Avatar romantique du dispositif miroitant de Brunelleschi, de la fente de la camera obscura ou encore du motif de la fenêtre ouverte sur le monde derrière une figure humaine, la ruine apparaît dès lors comme un filtre que je propose par mon témoignage fait d’argentique et de numérique.
Le regard qui passe par le crible de la ruine découvre un paysage d’accumulation par tous les âges et l'humanité qu'il a traversés. Le temps dévorateur est aussi « le temps ce grand sculpteur», disait Marguerite Yourcenar.
Le regard qui passe par la ruine pour regarder le paysage dans un même temps humanise puissamment celui-ci mais aussi l'autonomise, en tant que manifestation de la nature, vision panthéiste, marque de la divinité singulière et universelle.
D'où, dans ce second mouvement, la naissance du sentiment de sublime : c'est face à la ruine, marque de l'éphémère humain, que la Demeure du Chaos m'apparaît d'autant plus souveraine.
Mystique sacralisante, monumentalisation anachronique ou artificielle a posteriori, le rapport aux ruines de la Demeure du Chaos est ambivalent car le trouble fait partie du voyage initiatique que je propose par ce chemin de Damas.
Plus qu'une « image survivante », la ruine est un véritable fragment de réel, ces pierres dorées, ces pans de mur qui restent malgré les pluies et le vent au centre du paysage, au détour du chemin : un objet survivant et résistant à toute forme d’attaque. Le ciment des ruines de la Demeure du Chaos est fait du sang des bâtisseurs de cathédrales.
La ruine a ceci de spécial qu'elle ne dit, ni l'accomplissement ni l'aboutissement, comme veulent le dire l'Oeuvre au Noir qu'est la Demeure du chaos.
Elle serait comme l'envers du chef-d'œuvre, fantasme et fantôme qui parcourt tout l'art occidental, art qui rêve de maîtrise, d'achèvement et d'immortalité.
Elle serait l'avertissement - salutaire ? - que toute œuvre d'art est au fil des siècles mortelle ; mais sa représentation implique en un même temps que le déclin naturel et inéluctable, la triste décomposition physique où ne reste que les ruines, retrouvent la vie éternelle dans l’agora des éthers : le cybermonde où la Demeure du Chaos / Abode of Chaos devient un virus mutant à l'infini répliquant chaque fragment de ce Chaos Alchimique, Materia Prima de ce 21ème siècle tragique et somptueux.

The Metaverse is something that I have been involved in for a while now. I think it encompasses what I have imagined about the future since I was a kid. From last year's Defi, Gamefi, to this year's NFT craze. I have been involved in it all to learn about it, to learn from it, and to meet interesting people. I am really looking forward to a Metaverse game like Ready Player One. The SandBox is one of those Metaverse games like Minecraft, and socializing and playing to earn is the main attraction of the metaverse for me. It is also one of my daily desires.
