Sylvie is so great for b/w-clothing!
I've sewn this dress some weeks ago. This is the white version. There exists a black version (with white mesh pattern), too, which I haven't shown yet.
It's a simple sewing pattern for a strapless dress.

LK Ludwig's class. Copper metal mesh. Used stick-on letters, glued on leaf - sprayed Novacan (sp?) to age the mesh then peeled off the pieces to reveal the mesh.
This is a second piece, hung by a nail, with my template piece on top of it. I figured this would be a good way to make sure that all my holes lined up when I started assembling.
Hah. Yeahright.

This is the black version.
As you can see, it fits perfectly smaller busted dolls like Poppy Parker or Model Muse Barbies.
To make these, I put the origami onto the photopaper and expose it, so what you see is essentially the shadow of the origami, which is a neat idea, I think. This is the "bad" fish scale tile in Lang's Origami Design Secrets.
