For the past six months I've played around trying to make a satisfying mesh Willow. The parts never came together until yesterday!
Over the years I put a lot of time designing Willow's shape. But when I first looked at making a mesh me I had to change myself to fit some standard version of Willow and that I didn't want to do.
You could graft hand and feet onto your classic body. But the overall Willow alway had that cobbled together look. You could spend hours blending things together but it never was quite right.
Then along comes the Maitreya body and things looked better. But still there was that pesky joint between the classic head and the body. So mesh avatars weren't quite ready for prime time.
Friday I saw a blog from Strawberry Singh about the LeLutka head. Berry had begun wearing that head more than her classic head so I gave it a try.
SUCCESS !! Now there is a mesh Willow I am happy with. Of course over the years I've accumulated thousands of shoes, hair, clothes, and skins that won't fit anymore. But that does give a wonderful reason for SHOPPING.
