Didn't get anything I liked much today.
In desperation I put a piece of old shower loofah over my cold brew coffee filter.
Sure hope my coffee doesn't end up tasting like dirty loofah.
This is part of a model I built earlier in the year, the model is of a British Challenger Mark II Tank.
However when completeted I felt that it had one item missing that is usually carried by all British Army Vehicles, it is called a Camouflage Net. This is a net with large pieces of material attached in various colours dependant where the tank is operating.
For instance in the UK during summer the patches would be brown, green and black. In Norway in winter the patches would all be white, whereas the tanks in the desert would be various shades of tan, beige and browns.
This model Camouflage Net is made with a plastic net mesh "Bound" with black cotton. modelling paint daubed over it, to such an extent that some of the net is filled in where the threads of net criss crosses over each other.
The "rolled cam net" is 2.75 inches long.
