I'm not too familiar with Mercedes-Benz models and I'm only guessing that this is a 1960s W108 model based on a Wikipedia photo, but it looks to me like the kind of luxury car a wannabe dictator or gangster of the era would ride around in.
I do love old cars, they have so much character and individuality that modern rides mostly lack.

TS Mercedes was built in the Netherlands in 1958 as an ocean going fishing vessel.
In 2005 she was converted into a tall ship, so only the hull is as originally built.
The ship has had many names over the years and was 'Mercedes' between 2003 and 2019 - this image is from 2014.
In 2019, the ship was converted into a luxury sail 'super-yacht' and re-named 'Rossiya'.

Many alike were destined as taxi's and this one definitely was too.
It seemed to be in rough shape suffering from some serious rust, which was more apparent looking at the lower rear. It was sat outside a workshop so hopefully now on the up-and-up.

Der Mercedes-Benz W 198 ist ein Sportwagen der Marke Mercedes-Benz, den die Daimler-Benz AG von 1954 bis 1963 herstellte. Unter der Verkaufsbezeichnung Mercedes-Benz Typ 300 SL wurde er in den Jahren 1954 bis 1957 als Coupé mit Flügeltüren und in den Jahren 1957 bis 1963 als Roadster (W 198 II) angeboten; 1400 Coupés und 1858 Roadster wurden gebaut.
Mercedes-Benz präsentierte den 300 SL im Februar 1954 auf der International Motor Sports Show in New York. Er war der schnellste Sportwagen seiner Zeit.1999 wurde das Fahrzeug von Lesern der deutschen Oldtimer-Zeitschrift Motor Klassik zum „Sportwagen des Jahrhunderts“ gewählt.
Die Zahl 300 steht in der Verkaufsbezeichnung für den Hubraum in Centiliter gemessen, die Zusatzbezeichnung SL ist die Kurzform für „super-leicht“.
