MYANMAR,burma - Mandalay , rund um die Kuthodaw-Pagode
Die Kuthodaw-Pagode (Pagode der Königlichen Verdienste) ist eine 1868 fertiggestellte Anlage in der myanmarischen Stadt Mandalay. Sie besteht aus 729 Stupas in Form pavillonartiger Tempel, in denen je eine weiße Marmorplatte mit birmanischer Schrift steht.
The Kuthodaw Pagoda (Pagoda of Royal Merit) is a complex completed in 1868 in the Myanmar city of Mandalay. It consists of 729 stupas in the form of pavilion-like temples, each containing a white marble slab with Burmese script.
ENG: The subway station "Stadtmitte" is located under the Friedrichstraße or Mohrenstraße in Berlin's Mitte district. The two underground lines U2 and U6 also stop here. And the U2 always takes me home.
A train of the type "A3L" from the years 1966-1982 with the destination Pankow can be seen.
GER: Der U-Bahnhof „Stadtmitte“ befindet sich unter der Friedrichstraße beziehungsweise Mohrenstraße im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte. Hier halten auch die beiden U-Bahnlinie U2 und U6. Und die U2 bringt mich immer nach Hause.
Zu sehen ist ein Zug des Typs „A3L“ aus den Jahren 1966-1982 mit dem Fahrziel Pankow.

Der Rhein hat zur Zeit so wenig Wasser, dass die meisten Inseln trockenen Fußes erreicht werden können. Für u.a. den Flussregenpfeifer ist das ein Problem weil er Bodenbrüter ist und seine Brutgebiete auf diesen Inseln liegen. Nun latschen täglich dutzende Menschen, teilweise mit ihren Hunden, da mitten durch und nutzen die Inseln für ihre "Freizeitgestaltung". Ich hoffe, dass nicht zu viele Gelege zertrampelt werden. Tip: sollte jemand der Versuchung eine Insel zu betreten nicht widerstehen können, so sollte er im Außenbereich bleiben, der normalerweise überflutet ist, und nicht durch die Bereiche laufen, die bewachsen sind.
The Rhine river currently has so little water that most of the river islands can be reached on dry land. This is a problem for the little ringed plover, among others, because it is a ground breeder and its breeding area is on these islands. Now dozens of people, some with their dogs, traipse through the middle of the island every day and use it for their ‘leisure activities’. I hope that not too many clutches are trampled on.
Tip: if someone cannot resist the temptation to enter such an island, they should stay in the outside area, which is normally flooded, and not walk in the areas that are overgrown.

Ich stelle mir manchmal vor, dass Bäume eine eigene Wahrnehmung ihrer Umgebung haben. Für sie bewegen wir Menschen uns unglaublich schnell. Vermutlich bemerken sie uns gar nicht, weil wir in unsere Geschwindigkeit aus ihrer Sicht verschwinden.
Sometimes I imagine trees have their own perception of their surroundings. For them we humans move incredibly fast. Presumably, they do not notice us at all, because we disappear in our speed from their point of view.
