Was wäre London wohl ohne das Parlament und den Big Ben? Nicht nur das Gebäude an sich, sondern auch das Leben drum herum interessiert mich. Wie ist es so unter all diesen berühmten Gebäuden zu Leben? Klar ich komme aus Bayern, bin es also gewohnt mit altem Zeug um mich rum und trotzdem ist London doch eine ganz andere Welt für mich.
What would London probably without Parliament and the Big Ben? Not only the building itself, but also the lives of all around me interested. As it is so famous among all these buildings to life? Clear I come from Bavaria, am so used to the old stuff around me and yet London is but a completely different world for me.

Was aussieht wie kleine Schnecken sind Bonbon.
Das ist nicht nur interessant sondern auch lecker.
Die an der Wand aufgehängten Teigstränge werden geschwungen und geschlagen bis sie die richtige Konsistenz und Stärke haben. Dann werden sie geschnitten, geformt und in der Sonne zum Trocken ausgebreitet. Viele Grüße an HARIBO und Co.

What looks like small snails are candies.
This is not only interesting but also delicious. The strands of dough hanging on the wall are swung and beaten until they have the right consistency and strength. Then they are cut, shaped and laid out in the sun to dry. Greetings to HARIBO and Co.
Viele Menschen in Deutschland haben noch nie von der Greifvogelart Gleitaar (Elanus caeruleus) gehört.
Es ist kein heimischer Greifvogel. Wird er in Mitteleuropa einmal gesichtet, so handelt es sich um einen seltenen „Irrgast“.
Der Gleitaar ist in Südeuropa in Gebieten auf der Iberischen Halbinsel (Portugal, Spanien) und in der Nähe von Soustons in Frankreich, in Nordafrika in Marokko, Algerien und Ägypten, aber auch im übrigen Afrika anzutreffen.
Ich hatte heute das Glück, einen Gleitaar zu "schnappen"
Many people in Germany have never heard of the bird of prey black-shouldered kite (Elanus caeruleus).
It is not a native bird of prey. Once spotted in Central Europe, it is a rare "vagrant".
The black-shouldered kite is found in southern Europe in areas on the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal, Spain) and near Soustons in France, North Africa in Morocco, Algeria and Egypt, but also in the rest of Africa.
I was lucky today to "snap" a black-shouldered kite.

Hier wird ausgekundschaftet wo das nächste Opfer ist, welches ein Fischbrötchen oder Eis übrig hat.
Bei den Vögeln handelt es sich um Sturmmöwen .
Diese Möwenart ist sowohl an den Küsten als auch im Binnenland weit verbreitet und oft in geselligen Gruppen anzutreffen. Sturmmöwen ernähren sich vielseitig und fressen neben Fisch auch Insekten, Samen und Beeren.

Ich stelle mir manchmal vor, dass Bäume eine eigene Wahrnehmung ihrer Umgebung haben. Für sie bewegen wir Menschen uns unglaublich schnell. Vermutlich bemerken sie uns gar nicht, weil wir in unsere Geschwindigkeit aus ihrer Sicht verschwinden.
Sometimes I imagine trees have their own perception of their surroundings. For them we humans move incredibly fast. Presumably, they do not notice us at all, because we disappear in our speed from their point of view.
Some friends of the group www.flickr.com/groups/1500280@N20/ had a little photo-trip yesterday. It was extreme cold outside, so we better moved to a Italian restaurant after a short time ;-)

Menschen zu zeichnen, die dazu noch ständig ihre Position ändern, fällt mir sehr schwer. Hier derselbe Bildhauer in zwei Positionen, um ihn herum Zeichnerinnen, die wie ich ihr "Glück" versuchten....

It's very difficult for me to draw people who are constantly changing their position. Here the same sculptor in two positions, around him draughtsmen who like me tried their "luck" ....
