Cette église, de petite taille, dédiée à la Résurrection du Christ, est construite en 1865 à environ 150 m de hauteur sur les sommets et à flanc de falaise de la caldeira de Santorin, avec une vue panoramique sur la mer Égée
Elle est voisine de l'église Saint-Spyridon, dont la construction date de 1867, du même style en contrebas, et de l'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste (ou église aux Trois-Dômes).
🇬🇧 The Church of the Resurrection of Christ or the Anastasis, also known as the Church of the Blue Domes, is an Orthodox Christian church in the Byzantine-Cycladic style, located in Oia on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades archipelago.
This small church, dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ, was built in 1865 at a height of about 150 metres on the peaks and cliffs of the Santorini caldera, with a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea.
It stands next to the Church of St Spyridon, built in 1867 in the same style, and the Church of St John the Baptist (or the Church of the Three Domes), which can be seen in a previous photo.

Esta pequeña iglesia, dedicada a la Resurrección de Cristo, se construyó en 1865 a unos 150 metros sobre el nivel del mar, en las cumbres y acantilados de la caldera de Santorini, desde donde se tiene una vista panorámica del mar Egeo.
Junto a ella se encuentran la Iglesia de San Spyridon, construida en 1867 en el mismo estilo, y la Iglesia de San Juan Bautista (también conocida como Iglesia de las Tres Cúpulas), vista en una foto anterior.

Un baldaquin de pierre, au-dessus de l'entrée, tranche sur la brique omniprésente. Cette entrée généralement attribuée à l'épiscopat de Louis Ier, laisse toutefois, des interrogations : la finesse des sculptures du jubé est ici moins flagrante. Elles semblent avoir été faites par une autre équipe. De plus, les blasons d'Amboise, abondants à l'intérieur sont ici absents. Jean-Louis Biget pense que cet ouvrage serait postérieur au grand évêque de la fin du Moyen Âge.
À l'origine, le baldaquin était prolongé vers l'ouest par une chapelle de même architecture destinée à recueillir les sépultures des chanoines. Elle comportait une nef de trois travées et une abside à cinq pans. Elle a disparu au début du XIXe siècle.
Sur les piliers du baldaquin figurent deux cadrans solaires datant du XVIIe siècle et restaurés en 2008. L'un regarde vers l'est et indique les heures du matin, l'autre regarde vers l'ouest et indique les heures de l'après-midi. Ils sont accompagnés de décorations et de devises en latin. Celle sous le cadran de l'ouest indique, après traduction: « Puisse un accord mutuel réunir les hommes afin qu'ils veuillent se partager tous les biens du monde », celle sous le cadran de l'est : « Les frères Tyndarides vivaient à tour de rôle un jour ; mais, pour nous, un seul jour divise la vie »
A stone canopy above the entrance contrasts with the ubiquitous brickwork. This entrance generally attributed to the episcopate of Louis I, however, leaves some questions: the fineness of the sculptures of the rood screen is less obvious here. They seem to have been made by another team. In addition, the coats of arms of Amboise, abundant inside, are absent here. Jean-Louis Biget thinks that this work would be posterior to the great bishop of the end of the Middle Ages.
Originally, the baldachin was extended to the west by a chapel of the same architecture intended to house the tombs of the canons. It had a nave of three bays and a five-sided apse. It disappeared at the beginning of the 19th century.
On the pillars of the canopy are two sundials dating from the 17th century and restored in 2008. One looks east and indicates the morning hours, the other faces west and indicates the after-hours. midday. They are accompanied by decorations and mottos in Latin. L'autel majeur, en marbre de Sarrancolin, a été mis en place en 1737. Séparé de l'autel par un étroit passage, le retable s'adosse au mausolée de saint Bertrand. De la même époque que les stalles, il a été badigeonné et doré tardivement.
À la prédelle, on découvre vingt-sept petits bas-reliefs qui ne comportent pas moins de 115 personnages de 18 centimètres de hauteur. Deux cycles s'entrecroisent dans un désordre qui n'est qu'apparent :
à la base des colonnes du retable, nous trouvons le cycle de la Vierge Marie et de la Nativité de l'enfant Jésus
dans les renfoncements du retable, le cycle de la Passion du Christ
Le désordre n'est qu'apparent, car l'artiste, ou celui qui l'a inspiré, en mélangeant ces deux cycles, illustre magnifiquement une des grandes intuitions de la théologie chrétienne : la Kénose, l'abaissement du Christ qui culmine au moment de la Passion, commence en fait dès la Nativité. Lui, qui est de condition divine n'a pas considéré comme une proie à saisir d'être l'égal de Dieu. Mais il s'est dépouillé, prenant la condition de serviteur, devenant semblable aux hommes et, par son aspect, il était reconnu comme un homme... écrira saint Paul dans son épître aux Philippiens -Ph. 2/6-7 - .
Cela n'empêche pas l'auteur d'aller chercher une partie de son inspiration du côté des Évangiles Apocryphes popularisés à partir du XIIIe siècle par la très fameuse Légende Dorée du dominicain génois Jacques de Voragine. De nombreux détails des stalles, comme des premiers tableaux de la prédelle consacrés aux parents de la Vierge Marie, Anne et Joachim, proviennent en effet de ce best-seller de la littérature populaire édifiante : vendue par les colporteurs en fascicules lue, relue, lors des veillées campagnardes jusqu’au début du XXe siècle, La Légende dorée n’en a pas moins fournie aux artistes, depuis sa parution, les attributs et symboles qui permettaient d’identifier au premier coup d’oeil les saints, les saintes, et les scènes de l’Ancien ou du Nouveau Testament.
The main altar, in Sarrancolin marble, was installed in 1737. Separated from the altar by a narrow passage, the altarpiece leans against the mausoleum of Saint Bertrand. From the same period as the stalls, it was whitewashed and gilded late.
At the predella, we discover twenty-seven small bas-reliefs which include no less than 115 characters 18 centimeters high. Two cycles intersect in a disorder that is only apparent:

This does not prevent the author from seeking some of his inspiration from the Apocryphal Gospels popularized from the 13th century onwards by the very famous Golden Legend by the Genoese Dominican Jacques de Voragine. Many details of the stalls, such as the first paintings in the predella devoted to the parents of the Virgin Mary, Anne and Joachim, come from this bestseller of edifying popular literature: sold by peddlers in booklets read, reread, during From country vigils to the beginning of the 20th century, La Légende Dorée has nonetheless provided artists, since its publication, with the attributes and symbols that made it possible to identify at first glance the saints, the saints, and scenes from the Old or New Testament.
