Before sunset we stayed to shot a raptor that we particularly liked. We worry on our way back to find the entry to the camp closed ! A few kilometers only from our destination and near a waterhole where apparently he just drink in, a cheetah was showing off before some admirers.At first lying on the ground, the animal roll sideways, seeming very calm, enjoying himself, ignoring us. Then he stand up and left us without hurry, coming back a few times, one or two bushes away, letting us admiring his feline beauty before leaving ...The wildlife photographer knows well this intense emotion which we never tires when wild nature offers us such a gift!

Avant le coucher du soleil nous sommes restés pour photographier un rapace que nous aimons particulièrement. Nous nous inquiétons en revenant de trouver l'entrée du camp fermée! A quelques kilomètres seulement de notre destination , près d'un point d'eau où il venait certainement de boire, ce guépard est allongé et roule sur lui même devant quelques admirateurs !Le photographe animalier connait bien cette émotion intense qui nous envahit et dont on ne se lasse jamais lorsque la nature sauvage nous offre un pareil cadeau !
Puis le guépard va s'en aller ,allant d'un buisson à l'autre ,nous permettant d'admirer sa beauté féline !
Il est temps pour nous de rentrer , encore émervveillés des moments que nous venons de vivre ..

Quand j'ai rejoint Flickr en novembre 2010, je ne savais pas que ça allait devenir un divertissement quotidien et que grâce à ce média j'allais me faire de bons amis. Took this on Carmel river beach, the seafood came in and I couldn't get an angle that wasn't into the sun but I like the pose so here we are :-)

Canton de Berne : Schilthorn (Suisse)
Au départ de Stechelberg (867 m. d'altitude, à 75km de Berne et 18km d'Interlaken), il faut s'armer de patience et d'un certain courage pour gravir ce sommet à bord du téléphérique… le plus raide du monde. Même si l'ascension ne dure que 30 minutes, le visiteur retient son souffle. Le long d'une paroi quasi verticale transpercée de puissantes cascades, les petites cabines suspendues à leur fil grimpent jusqu'au sommet de la montagne, le Schilthorn à 2970 mètres d'altitude. Pour y parvenir, elles franchissent, en quatre étapes - Stechelberg, Gimmelwald, Mürren et Birg - une dénivellation totale de 2103 mètres en parcourant quelque 7000 mètres de câbles.
Au cœur des neiges éternelles, le panorama sur le massif de la Jungfrau est forcément époustouflant, tout comme le fossé de Lauterbrunnen, à nos pieds.
Là-haut, le restaurant panoramique Piz Gloria tourne sur lui-même grâce à l'énergie solaire, effectuant une rotation de 360° toutes les 55 minutes. En 1969, c'était le premier restaurant tournant du monde !
Avant même d'être ouvert au public et quelques mois seulement après sa construction, ce bâtiment futuriste en aluminium accueillit les équipes de tournage de James Bond "Au service secret de sa Majesté" ("On her Majesty's Secret Service"), qui simulèrent de légendaires parties de chassé-croisé dans les montagnes alentours durant l'hiver 1968-1969. Les séquences concernées sont projetées sur place, dans une petite salle de cinéma prévue à cet effet. Depuis l'été 2005, les amoureux peuvent sceller leur vie au sommet de la montagne.

I'm not tagging anyone. I just wanted something to do before I even finished my first cup of coffee today.
Additionally, I think my band is an ironic hipster experiment, shunned by all because they just tried too damn hard, and their CD smacked of production values and effort.
The real reason they broke up though, is that two of them wore the same cowboy shirt two sizes too small one day, and were unable to get past the fact that they had found the same thrift store full of deadstock, thus negating how obscure the other was.
