For Macro Mondays: Member's Choice: Games or Game Pieces

This is a German game "Mensch ärgere dich nicht"

"Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" is a German board game (but not a German-style board game), developed by Josef Friedrich Schmidt in 1907/1908.

The game was issued in 1914 and sold about 70 million copies. It is a cross and circle game with the circle collapsed onto the cross, similar to the Indian game Pachisi, the Colombian game Parqués, the American games Parcheesi and Trouble, and the English game Ludo. Source Wikipedia

“But when we consider how small after all the cup of human enjoyment is, how soon overflowed with tears, how easily drained to the dregs in our quenchless thirst for infinity, we shall not blame ourselves for making so much of the tea-cup.”

― Kakuzō Okakura, The Book of Tea

Merry Christmas!

Bedstraw ~ Galium.

Although we have a wood here it isn't close to home and over the weekend my OH has not been well and I didn't want to leave him for long. So instead of the wood, I looked in the hedgerows around us and found this Bedstraw.

Not easy to photo, but I think it's come out OK.

Remy is my favorite game piece from Monopoly—the Disney version, played with my grandchildren. Remy is a character who wants to be a chef in the Disney animated film, "Ratatouille"

Because it's Christmas, I thought it was appropriate to include a Christmas tree in my photo. The tree is more or less 4 cm tall.

Happy Holidays! HMM!

Macro Monday submission for Christmas day. Tree light bokeh!

"Gloria" of course, being the latin for 'glory' as in: Gloria in excelsis Deo (Glory to God in the Highest).

BTW, Angel-girl's hair was blonde and it blended it too much with the backing light so I cheated using photoshop and made her a brunette.

This is a Christmas tree ornament, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Merry Christmas to everyone and HMM!

Have added to the title as my tags don't seem to show up when viewing from another device. Oh the Xmas stress!

Well, not me – it makes me much too much fun here ;-)

But Santa had to say goodbye for a while. HoHo.

Ich bin dann mal weg. Sehe Euch nächstes Jahr.

Naja, nicht ich – dafür macht es mir hier viel zu viel Spaß ;-)

Aber der Weihnachtsmann musste sich für eine Weile verabschieden. HoHo.

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas! 🎄

Dew drops on a bin liner (garbage sack) in a rubbish bin (trash can), that I saw last Tuesday morning while I was out.

I'm not sure about the photo, but it was all I managed for this week, so I'm giving it a whirl. At least it fits the theme!
