Our contribution to this weeks Macro Mondays: Member's Choice - Musical Instruments. Enjoy it and HMM to everybody.

well, sort of....
Member's choice theme "Musical Instrument"
7,5 x 3 cm
The bow is on stringed instruments, the hardwood stick covered with horse hair. At the end of the bow is the frog that the musician holds with his right hand and then leads the bow over the sides of the instrument. By moving back and forth on the strings, the stick-slip effect generates a vibration and thus the sound!
Der Bogen ist bei Streichinstrumenten, der mit Pferdehaaren bespannte Hartholzstab. Am Ende des Bogens ist der Frosch den die/der Musiker mit der rechten Hand umfasst und dann den Bogen über die Seiten des Instrumentes führt. Durch das Hin- und Herstreichen auf den Saiten wird durch den Stick-Slip-Effekt eine Schwingung und damit der Ton erzeugt!
L'archet est sur instruments à cordes, le bâton de bois dur recouvert de crin de cheval. Au bout de l'archet se trouve la grenouille que le musicien tient avec sa main droite et qu'il porte ensuite sur les côtés de l'instrument. En se déplaçant sur les cordes, l'effet stick-slip génère une vibration et donc le son!

Al final del arco se encuentra la rana que el músico sostiene con su mano derecha y luego lleva el arco sobre los lados del instrumento. Moviéndose hacia adelante y hacia atrás sobre las cuerdas, el efecto stick-slip genera una vibración y por lo tanto el sonido!

O arco está nos instrumentos de corda, o bastão de madeira coberto de cabelos. No final do arco é o sapo que o músico segura com a mão direita e depois carrega o arco nos lados do instrumento. Movendo-se para a frente e para trás nas cordas, o efeito de stick-slip gera uma vibração e, portanto, soa!

Muovendosi avanti e indietro sulle corde, l' effetto stick-slip genera una vibrazione e quindi il suono!
De boeg is op snaarinstrumenten, de hardhouten stok bedekt met paardenhaar. Aan het einde van de boog zit de kikker die de muzikant met zijn rechterhand vasthoudt en dan de boog over de zijkanten van het instrument leidt. Door heen en weer te bewegen op de snaren genereert het stick-slip effect een vibratie en dus het geluid!

Macro of conifer growth inspired by Macro Mondays' "Into the Woods". The diagonal measures approximately 2 inches/ 5.08 centimeters.
Apparently the wet winter has encouraged these spurts of growth on most trees and plants here.

The race car player piece in a monopoly game, For Macro Mondays theme "Member’s Choice: Games or Game Pieces",
Its Feb 1979 one of the worst snow storms since 1967 .It 20 below zero outside .Were on top of a Box car for this view at Green Island Iowa looking south .Were on the Omaha side of the Milwaukee road Iowa division with four covered wagons stopped at the Green Island station where crews are getting there order's from agent Rich Marburger Chuck Mangler's was one of the crew member's and Jerry Harder .Long time friend Steve Smedley brought coffee for everybody in the station
So I said to my daughter: what's this punk doing hanging out in my kitchen. She replied: what's a punk?
I leave an okra pod on the vine to dry for next years seeds. Okra is a southern vegetable you either love or hate. My favorite is to pick them small, and just microwave them a short time so they don't get mushy! Fried okra and okra gumbo are also yummy!

The reflection in the flute keys is from the upper part of the music sheet, rolled above the flute. HMM !!
I found this little 1 inch (2.54cm) tall plant with its delicate flowers trying to stand tall in the wind. At Water Canyon in the Cibola Forest. I have no idea what it is so I'll just call it Spike. HMM!

For the "Redux 2017--My Favorite Theme of the Year" theme, I chose the theme from: June 19: Member's Choice: Drips, Drops and Splashes.
This was one of my favorite themes and I decided to recreate the abstract drops with a different background. HMM!

Macro Mondays -- Member's Choice: Texture
This shot shows about 5cm (2") of the bricks in my fireplace. It was poetic license to say wall in the title. ;-)
Bedstraw ~ Galium.
Although we have a wood here it isn't close to home and over the weekend my OH has not been well and I didn't want to leave him for long. So instead of the wood, I looked in the hedgerows around us and found this Bedstraw.
Not easy to photo, but I think it's come out OK.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
