Macro Mondays 01/01/2018 theme Redux 2017--My Favorite Theme of the Year.
With so many great themes to choose from I decided to start at the top of the list and work down and try to fit as many themes in to one photo.So starting with January 9th: Member's Choice--Inspired by a Song (Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf)
As it has a little heart I thought it would also fit February 13th theme: Heart
As its metallic it fits March 13th: Member's Choice: Made of Metal
Next on the list is October 30th theme: Halloween (my favorite holiday).
Last on the list is December 18th theme: Lit by Candlelight as this was how it was lit : )

Parsley seeds, entwined in spider web, for the Macro Mondays theme "Member's Choice: Seeds". The plant is self- seeded in my garden.

These are mosaic decorative tiles photographed in a shop while we have been looking to decorate out bathroom. The little tiles are abstract in themselves but I added the swirl through an online photo editing program called Lunapic.

Macro Mondays theme -- "Member's Choice: Abstract Macro"
Normally I state what I have photographed for my image but this week I shall be mysterious. :-)
Note added September 2020 -- the secret revealed 3 years later! :-) This is the bottom of a cracked crystal highball glass. The glass is untinted but inside I placed some colourful objects. I think I backlit it.
Didn't have the opportunity to visit the woods this week but a creative crop of one of my existing stock should fit the bill for this weeks challenge. One of my favourite subjects Mushrooms :)

25 of 25 Days of Christmas
Merry Christmas to all of my Flickr friends. I was unable to finish my 25 days of Christmas this year due to a family emergency but I am able to wish you all a Merry Christmas and we can hope for a happier new year. :)
Macro Mondays theme "Member’s Choice: Into the Woods"
Out and about yesterday after rainfall seemed a great opportunity to try and get raindrops with reflections. Here we have blades of grass the orange petals are Buttercups. I was hoping to find a blade of grass that I could find rain drops that were clear enough to use for refractions, here managing to find several on one blade of grass and one in the corner.
This was done handheld as I was feeling too lazy to get the tripod out!!!
