I feel you moving underneath my skin
Like a secret I can’t hide
Every breath is pulling you back in
Every shadow tastes like fire
Your name is warm against my mouth
Your touch still lives where dreams begin
I try to run, but I know somehow
I only fall back in
Come closer, let the night unfold
I need the heat, I need the spark
Love me where the dark turns gold
With this desire in my heart
There is desire in my heart
Burning through me in the dark
I need your love, I need your fire
I need your body next to mine
There is desire in my heart
Pulling me to where you are
Hold me deeper, don’t let go
I want your soul, I want it all
I hear your voice in the velvet rain
Soft as thunder, close as sin
Every kiss I still can’t explain
Leaves a flame beneath my skin
The room is empty, but I feel you there
Like a pulse inside the blue
I close my eyes, I breathe the air
And every part of me wants you
Come closer, let the night unfold
I need the heat, I need the spark
Love me where the dark turns gold
With this desire in my heart
There is desire in my heart
Burning through me in the dark
I need your love, I need your fire
I need your body next to mine
There is desire in my heart
Pulling me to where you are
Hold me deeper, don’t let go
I want your soul, I want it all
Breakdown with piano, violin, soft pads, and intimate female choir harmonies.
No drums.
Emotional, cinematic, sensual, fragile.
Female vocals only.
If you touch me, touch me slowly
Like the night was made for us
If you love me, love me wholly
Till the stars turn into dust
I don’t want a dream without you
I don’t want a sky this cold
I need your love around me
I need your fire in my soul
Desire in my heart
Burning in the dark
Love me through the night
Hold me where we are
Desire in my heart
Calling like a spark
I need you, I need you
Closer than the dark
Heartbeat kick slowly returns.
Violin rises higher.
Synth arpeggio grows brighter.
Female choir builds with passion.
Female lead vocal becomes more powerful, sensual, and emotional.
There is desire in my heart
Burning through me in the dark
I need your love, I need your fire
I need your body next to mine
There is desire in my heart
Pulling me to where you are
Hold me deeper, don’t let go
I want your soul, I want it all
Strip back to violin, soft synth pads, distant bass pulse.
Female choir fades into the night.
Desire in my heart
Still burning in the dark
I need your love
I need your fire
I need you here
Desire

Mmm, carry the night
Mmm, carry the rain
Mmm, open the sky
Love speaks your name
I didn’t fall
I became the tide
Moving slow
To where you hide
You touched the quiet
Under my skin
Now every shadow
Lets the music in
No golden promise
No perfect scene
Just your hands
Waking the dream
I kept my heart
Behind silver doors
Then you arrived
And the walls were yours
Now the sky remembers
The shape of you
Every violin trembles
When you move through
And if the storm is coming
Let it come for me
I found your name
Inside the sea
I hear your name in the weather
I feel your soul in the rain
You turn my silence to fire
You turn my fear into flame
Come closer, don’t speak
Let the night understand
I was only a river
Till you gave me your hands
Your name in the weather
Your soul in the rain
We rise together
Again and again
You move like a secret
My body can read
Soft as the moonlight
Deep as the sea
Every heartbeat
Calls you home
I was a temple
Made of stone
Now I am open
Now I am bright
A storm full of roses
Burning at night
No fear behind me
No cold above
Only the thunder
Learning your love
Now the sky remembers
The shape of you
Every violin trembles
When you move through
And if the storm is coming
Let it come for me
I found your name
Inside the sea
I hear your name in the weather
I feel your soul in the rain
You turn my silence to fire
You turn my fear into flame
Come closer, don’t speak
Let the night understand
I was only a river
Till you gave me your hands
Your name in the weather
Your soul in the rain
We rise together
Again and again
If the world disappears
Leave me your voice
If the stars come undone
You are my choice
Not for a moment
Not for a night
I want the forever
That trembles inside
If love is lightning
Let it strike twice
I’ll meet you barefoot
At the edge of life
Carry us over
Carry us through
The storm is holy
When I’m with you
Carry us over
Carry us through
The night is burning
In violet blue
I hear your name in the weather
I feel your soul in the rain
You turn my silence to fire
You turn my fear into flame
Come closer, don’t speak
Let the night understand
I was only a river
Till you gave me your hands
Your name in the weather
Your soul in the rain
We rise together
Again and again
Your name in the weather
Still falling through me
Mmm, carry the night
Mmm, carry the rain
Mmm, open the sky
Love speaks your name

A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
Ecclesiastes 6:2 King James Version

Proverbs 6:32-34 King James Version
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
