No takers for the elegant (and presumably) Victorian shelter on the promenade on this freezing cold and blustery winter's morning. In fact, apart from a couple of shore-fishermen, the seafront was practically deserted. Not a 'Ten from Len' day, then.

One of my old time favourites!
In 2010 I belonged to six photographers who were invited to take photo's in the Theatres of Tilburg, during several weeks.
The Theatre celebrated its 50 years anniversary back then. This was one of my photo's at the exhibition that followed. There was also a publication made.
Thank you for taken your time to visit me, comments or faves are always much appreciated!
Viewed from Milton Ferry Bridge in Ferry Meadows, Peterborough. This was from a little cycle ride, I was hoping to photo the bridge but there was a large area fenced off for tree work so I could not get that particular shot.

Another image from my first evening of medium format film photography. Again shot using Iflord FP4. This one again taken down at Seacliff looking out to Tantallon Castle. I think if i won the lottery I'd be banging on the owner of Seacliff's door asking how much he/she wanted for it!

My first foray into medium format nature photography. Pentax 645z with the 400mm fa 5.6 lens. Initial thoughts are that it is a lot quicker at focussing than I thought it would be, and lighter! The lens is similar in weight to the da 300 f4. I wish I had access to a lens like the sigma 300mm 2.8, on medium format it would be a killer. My gut feel is that the sensor can deliver even more if the lens was a little more special.
An afternoon stop on my way to North Conway in New Hampshire rewarded me with a tranquil view on Mount Chocorua, by the lake, named after this peak. I cannot tell what pleases me more: the subtlety of the autumn colors or the gesture of the birch, leaning toward the distant mountain.
