I've been a bit under the weather lately, one bout of being poorly, followed by one bout of major abdominal surgery, one week in hospital and way too many days on IV antibiotics. All in all, a bit rough.

I'm happy to say I'm recovering well and am now feeling a hell of a lot better.

Many thanks to everyone who sent emails, messages, good thoughts, prayers and get well soons. I really appreciated them, they all seemed to come just at the right time :-) and I've no doubt they all played a big part in my recovery, for that, I can't thank you enough.

The one face that's cheered me the most though belongs to Jess, dogs are such intuitive clever little creatures, she's been incredibly gentle with me since I've got home, no jumping up, just coming and sitting beside me waiting for pats, in tune with my recovery and increased range of movement she's now progressed to lying on the floor and waiting for belly tickles. Clever girl!
