Many people celebrate Christmas in the morning of Dec 25. We start the celebration the night before, on Christmas Eve, and this is the day when the Santa comes in with his presents!!! Tradition calls for 12 dishes to be served that night. Count if there is 12 dishes… What an awesome time!!!

California Cabernet Sauvignon. As an experiment, I used a piece of black and white photo paper in my 4 x 5 camera. I did not develop the paper, but scanned it. That is the color produced after scanning.

This little guy is about to get fed...looks like he's ready!

He is deciding what to have, the choice is..... Diced Peanuts*, Sunflower Seeds, Crunchy Peanut Butter or Suet Pellets.

* Young chicks can choke on whole Peanuts so I spend 15 minutes chopping them up using my Wife's best cleaver, please don't tell her.

Als ich diese Situation beobachtete, war mein erster Gedanke:

"Papa Neuntöter stopft doch wohl jetzt nicht die ganze Maus in den Schnabel seines Jungvogels?!"

Tat er natürlich nicht! Er befestigte die Maus an dem Stacheldraht und riss sie in schnabelgerechte Stücke !

As I watched this situation, my first thought was:

"Papa Neuntöter does not stuff the whole mouse into the beak of his young bird ?!"

Of course he did not! He attached the mouse to the barbed wire and tore it into beak-sized pieces!
