An impromptu flyover by this swan today at Pitsford Reservoir, which stirred me into action, with no time to adjust the camera settings.
In fact this photo was a little underexposed, so this is a cropped and slightly tweaked version.

Gebaut 1914.......Gesunken im Dezember 1975 im dichten Nebel nach einer Kollision zweier Frachtschiffe. Dabei drehte sich eines (Die Wiedau) in den Kurs der Uwe und durchtrennte diese Mitschiffs. Ein Besatzungsmitglied der Wiedau wurde eingeklemmt und ertrank. Ansonsten wurden alle Besatzungsmitglieder aller drei Schiffe gerettet.

Built in 1914 ....... Sunk in December 1975 in thick fog after a collision between two cargo ships. One of them (Die Wiedau) turned into the course of the Uwe and severed this midship. A crew member of the Wiedau was trapped and drowned. Otherwise, all crew members of all three ships were rescued.

Hi guys and gals thanks for helping me out with Mayday. This is me holding her (I've assigned her a gender sue me lol)
She seems alright enough still a bit slow when it comes to food (has trouble seeing it unless it's right in front of her) and also has a bit of trouble drinking. She still can't fly BUT she's got her balance and can "Flutter Jump".
I'll keep you all updated because i'm going to look after her all night and gather her some food in the morning and hopefully she'll be okay! :)
Okay, so this is from last night at the Give Me Summer Your Love Tour. This was the best line up in the world. We won early entry to the concert, and I went with my sister. We arrived at the venue at about 4:30pm. We met up with my friends Christine, Julie, and Kaitlyn. We finally were allowed in at about 6:30pm. When we got in, we were the third row from the stage. The concert began at 7:30 with We Are the in Crowd, and they were a good band, considering I had never heard their music. At about 8:30 Mayday Parade came on. Mayday Parade is one of my favorite bands in the world. About two songs in, I had a panic attack, and security had to pull me over the barrier. In the process, my shoes fell off my feet because I was wearing flip flops. Once I was out, they pulled my sister out, then my friend Julie. (Christine and Kaitlyn left before Mayday even came on). I got water and what not, and I pulled myself together to enjoy the rest of the night. After Mayday Parade we bought Merch. Finally, All Time Low came on. They were so amazing. I love them so so much! You have no idea. Best concert ever. Best night of my life actually. But, it gets better…
After the show, we ran to the back of the building where the tour buses are. (I still had no shoes). It was raining and we realized we were running behind Zack, a member of All Time Low. He ignored us though. :( ! So, there were about twenty people in a line, and we got into it! We waited about an hour in the rain and they told us all to move to the other side of the lot. We ended up meeting Jack and Alex from All Time Low, which I was dreaming of doing! They signed my ticket and Alex gave me a hug. And Jack told me Merry Christmas. I love my life!

Ok, I'm really spamming today, but I'm just sooooo inspired right now with my dolls. It's Labour Day holiday on top of it all, so I'm spending it photographing out there in the sunshine. Yaya and Lili are celebrating Mayday too in their pretty outfits and (tiny) balloons. ;)

A crashed plane! Went down because of the heavy weather conditions ;) Just kidding, it's an art object on the coast of Harderwijk, the Netherlands. I was shooting at this location before I took this photo when it started raining extremely heavy. I quickly assembled all my gear and ran into a local bar. Luckily the rain stopped a few minutes later, leaving some beautiful storm clouds with the sun going down. I saw it happening and ran back to the spot, set up my gear, and took this photo. Cropped it to 16:9 landscape ratio because it had too much empty sky. Very happy with the result!

Photo taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8 Pro hand held. This version was converted from raw in DxO PhotoLab 5.3 with some basic adjustments. Further work was undertaken in DxO's Nik Color Efex Pro 5. I am pleased with the colourful dreamlike qualities of the finished image.
North Parade, Oxford
When the shenanigans die down in the city centre there is a drift to North Parade. 'May Day is Midday at North Parade' runs the slogan. The road is closed to traffic between about 12 noon and 2pm. Around noon, morris sides from the city centre arrive to dance outside the Rose & Crown. Oxford City Morris act as hosts, and regulars include Oxford University Morris Men, Abingdon Traditional, Charlbury, Crendon, Wolvercote and the Summertown Morris. The Rose & Crown, with the Gardener's Arms, traditionally feed and water the morris sides from a 'street-based barbecue', selling to the public after the morris are victualled.
The Rose & Crown hosts impromptu musical sessions in its rear courtyard. Though the dancing stops around 2pm, the pub sessions may go on to 5 or 6pm.

This memorial commemorates the 117 Allied airmen who were slain around Harderwijk in World War II. Many of the planes crashed into the IJsselmeer after the victims washed ashore or were missing.
