This piece captures the instant after external judgment has been internalized not as shame, but as momentum. The Lamb doesn’t wear the red with regret. He wears it like a crown.

The mark on the mask, for me, represents the moment when a label becomes a weapon, and a victim becomes sovereign. He’s not walking away. He’s walking forward—toward you.

“The Heir Presumptive” is about seeing without sight, inheriting without knowing, and stepping into roles shaped by myth before understanding self. The veil here is not worn for hiding it is draped by expectation. The exposed mouth suggests readiness; the covered eyes, restraint.

There’s a tension between softness and certainty in the rendering between what is chosen and what is imposed. In a world obsessed with visibility, this is a portrait of poised opacity.

This piece is part ritual, part revolt.
