A collection of very alien-looking toadstools.

The clouds helped to block enough of Moon's brightness.

This is currently my all time favourite of my own pics. As you see, the weather conditions were not really fine. So I had the decision: run, run fast, or just run. I decided to run ;-) before I did it, I took five shots of this monumental rock in the middle of nowhere at 2.900m above sea level with a storm coming across. Hope, you enjoy!

Went back to the poppy field tonight to try and catch the evening light. Arrived a little late and was as ever, unprepared (must buy a graduated filter) so had a narrow window of opportunity. Tell me when you are bored of poppies.

On April 30 I had a lovely chat with friendly visitors from space and I even could sneek a peek into their cockpit and take an image of it ! You see the captain of the crew.

Unfortunaltely this space ship was too small for me to hop in myself ... but it was a fun encounter nonetheless !

Crazy Tuesday - theme of May 3rd, 2022: Made of Plastic

This is actually the plastic head of a reusable metal cocktail stick for finger food; taken in front of the keyboard of my tablet with internal lighting switched on; additional lighting with a coloured LED-light

[ taken with the manual Laowa 60mm 2x magnification lens @ about f/4; the "head"' is about 2.5 cm high ]

I will catch up in the evening ! :)

Strange alien patterns and lasers.

Discovered one night in Sydney.

Photographed from the Rotunda Tower at the Overseas Passenger Terminal (northern end), directly above the Quay Restaurant. You have to dodge security guards to ascend the tower. Or offer them coffee!!

And to complete the weird mood, here's IMY2's new cover version of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game'. Be sure to check out the glamorous lead singer's new hair colour - a subdued, sultry green. She is the BEST singer on Spotify and Youtubemusic at the moment:

Realising yesterday that Mars Mission is fifteen years old meant I suddenly had to build another Claw Tank tribute. This one is moving away from the original set and into a more GI Joe design, big and chonk, equal parts aggressive and goofy. I had the large orange treaded WIP lying around for ages (a failed Hibernia digger) so most of that got remixed into this monstrosity.

Mars is a colorized Garden Globe.

Mars Bar is real!

Just a fun and quick remix of the Klau tank.

iPhone 8 - Let this be a lesson to all of you. Never leave your camera behind during a disaster even if it is just to run over and pick up a couple of burgers. I rarely rarely rarely ever take a photo with my iPhone because they just don't have the quality. Then I spend a lot of time in Photoshop cleaning up ratty JPEG artifacts and related garbage.

This was taken on the night of September 8th.

NB: I revised the photo several hours after I first posted it. I had another image which I merged with the original and expanded the picture horizontally. This I spent some time polishing it.

Scientific breakthrough!

Documented with a photo - proof that there is water on Mars. ;)

Came to mind while eating one of these candy bars and washing it down with a glass of water...

Lighting: Single LED panel from above, slightly right. White paper as background and in front as reflector for the Mars bar.

Thanks for the likes!! Quick shot from this morning. Wanted to get them before the clouds roll in the weekend.

This unreal scene on Mallorca happened during a warm wind from the south, called "Scirocco". Small particels from the Sahara-Desert tinted the skies grey and yellow.

Captured on the beaches of "Faro Ses Salines".

21 mars 2020

Imagine this. Year 2056. Humans have long since established themselves on Mars and terraforming is starting to show resault. You are one of the crew members who has just arrived. At first sign of daylight, you climb up to the observation post in the bunker in which you live and this is what you see.

Or this; in 1840 they found nickel in this area. 10-15 man worked in a small mine nearby. The ore, that you see here, were stored and transported by horse to the sea during wintertime. It was then shipped to Great Britan and used in the productions of coins. The mine company was shut down after about 60 years of operation.

2550 AD. Mars is finally a colonized planet, scientists have managed to create an atmosphere where we humans can breathe normally and so explore new horizons as we can see it in this picture taken by an AI automated surveillance device, where a couple of young explorers enjoy a pleasurable ballad along the coastline.
