I was telling Sheri about it and it was still early enough so people were not in the office just yet. So I went over to Sheri's desk and we both kicked up our heels and took a quick snapshot.
What a week... it went from dead the past few weeks to just craziness abounds at work. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, because it's really not. It just came out of nowhere. However everyone was on their game and we did so well this week. Sheri rocked the Recruiting Room and once again showed how great of a leader she is :)
We're getting dressed now and headed out for a well deserved night out with friends.

These guys were beavering away in a workshop in Bangkok, oblivious to me standing there watching. I saw them the night before and then went back. This was taken around 8 or 9 in the evening and they were still there when I walked past later.

I had a phone call from a market research company yesterday but I was just cooking my tea. So she said they'd call back - which they did today. One of the questions was, "How much time do you spend on the internet each week?"
Heavens to Murgatroyd - blooming hours and hours and hour ....
"How'd you choose what digital camera to buy?"
It took a couple hours to get these results, and $0.10 per response. It took just a few minutes to set up, went live quickly, and I could watch the answers in real-time. No, it's not going to replace real statistical analysis and polling. But for most impromptu research, it's not just good enough, it's really, really good.

Playing around with some product photography (light tent, "green screen" infinity background). Years ago I recall learning how food and soaps and such really struggle to capture a shopper's attention if their packaging doesn't follow consumer expected color schemes.
