Walking down the street on my way home after work, I overhear a guy on the phone saying "trust me, I'm a Sheriff's Deputy...it's a seven foot female marijuana plant...just growing there next to the curb"
I don't know for sure, but I might do a little research to see if I can find a police report. A few officers responded, and the plant was gone the next day. But this thing was huge--at least 7'+, and nearly an inch around at the bottom.

Featured in the Loyola Phoenix 9/30/09 Article appears to confirm via CPD News Affairs that the plant was a 10' tall cannabis plant.
These folks are allegedly selling marijuana laced lollipops out of a very prominently marked van. I was pretty sure that couldn't be legal. A quick google search led to some new stories about them. According to "unofficial" investigations by the NYC police department, there is no marijuana in their lollipops.

Today we walked past a mile of marijuana plants in this new sanctioned growing facility. Can see why its called weed, grows like crazy, looks almost like a Christmas tree farm!
In Ontario, it is now legal to grow your own, these are the rules, good luck monitoring this...
You must be of over 19.

My dad has started growing medical marijuana which gives me an opportunity to finally shoot some really good macro. I'm not sure if the focus is off, or what, but it doesn't seem as sharp as I would like.
