a bit of shopping this beautiful sunday, post brunch at grey dogs:

Be advised that the Marc by Marc Jacobs store on Bleeker Street has a chicken that you, family, loved ones, children and/or pets may pose with. You will receive, free of charge and without necessary purchase, a photograph of said pose. The chicken will be in residence all business hours through this Sunday, Easter. Doubles of the prints are on the outside windows--my favourite is the kid playing violin for the chicken in the center.
I had some time to kill in Cupertino so I took some self portraits in the parking garage of a mall in Cupertino. Wearing my new Marc Jacobs skirt, Irregular Choice shoes and a vintage camisole I got at Etsy.

My 1950s nylon dress began life as an undergarment, but now it’s the perfect gossamer frock when paired with a slip (or bikini coverup when not). Its diaphanous layers are like cobwebs: transparent textures show sheer in sunlight & tear easily – wearer beware.
