Taken at the Fort William marathon earlier this year. Still miles to go and the empty road stretches ahead.
第二站：2009太魯閣21KM半程馬拉松, 安全抵達終點, 時間是2小時40分43秒, 第一次跑那麼長的距離, 感覺很棒! 太魯閣風景很美, 空氣很新鮮, 跑起來很舒服, 是說到最後已經是用意志力在跑了!雙腳都不聽使喚...明年想再參加。
隔天跑去太魯閣仔細看風景, 真的有傻眼! 不敢相信21KM真的很長耶!
特別是過了溪畔隧道後好像到了另一個世界, 仰頭不見天, 峻峭雄偉的峽谷真叫人讚嘆連連!
用相機也拍不起來的壯闊, 燕子口+九曲洞+天祥...好像到了仙境喔!
明年, 再見。
A new piece of heavy metal for my running collection- for today's PF Changs Rock 'n Roll Marthon in Phoenix.
26.2 frigging miles. Do I Hate Running?
The first half was pleasent, the second half grueling.
i was looking forward to shooting the full moon again last night and was all set up at schinias, the beach at marathon (yes, it's a place in greece -- the race's namesake) about an hour before moonrise. mr.G decided to have his first swim this year and i looked around, watching some people water skiing against the hazy evening horizon.
as the big moment approached, hordes of mosquitoes descended and started nibbling on me. with all the fuss, i actually missed the moon's appearance over the hills across the water.
when i realized it was rising, i hastily took a few quick shots and ran for my life.
oh well, at least i like the composition.
if you want to visit this location, it's on the map -- and bring insect repellent, heavy-duty.

They had one for the challenged people as well. It was really heartening to see them racing.
I know their smiles not front facing, but it was one of the best smile I got.
Many of you might suggest cropping the bottom where the rail rod passes. To ensure symmetry on both the sides have not cropped the rail rod.

While working on perosnal projects I was inspired by the style and composition of Marathon the video game , a Bungee game known for its striking visuals. I wanted to capture that style, so this is like a one-day quick sketch of that look and feel!
Well we are now official Georgia residents. Not the move I wanted to make but FL is getting pretty expensive… hopefully we’ll make it back there someday. ST Augustine is still my goal for a final destination!
