Il grande santuario Kasuga (春日大社 Kasuga-taisha?) è un santuario shintoista situato a Nara, nella prefettura di Nara, in Giappone. Fondato nel 768 e ricostruito diverse volte, è il santuario della famiglia Fujiwara. L'interno è famoso per le sue lanterne di bronzo e le molte lanterne di pietra (tōrō) che conducono al santuario.
Lo stile architettonico Kasuga-zukuri prende il nome dall'area più sacra, detta honden, del santuario, il quale assieme alla vicina foresta Primordiale Kasugayama è registrato tra i patrimoni dell'umanità dell'UNESCO, come parte dei "monumenti storici dell'Antica Nara".
Il sentiero per il santuario Kasuga attraversa il parco del Cervo (dove i cervi addomesticati vagano liberamente). Più di mille lanterne di pietra sono disposte lungo la via. Il giardino botanico Manyo è adiacente al santuario.
La font del Manyo és una font natural situada a la confluència del torrent de les Costes i el torrent de la Salamandra, molt a prop de l'ermita de Sant Medir. D'un frontal de pedra surten dos tubs, un dels quals havia rajat aigua abundant. La font brolla arran mateix de la riera de Sant Medir, i gràcies a una plataforma de fusta calada sobre la mateixa riera, es pot accedir a la font. Al frontal hi ha la inscripció: S.Medi Maño 1964. Meditation doodle with Kakimori steel nib dip pen; the video shows shimmer and sheen effects. I use tamer inks when writing, but anything goes in the doodle. Used here are "special effect" inks Diamine Golden Oasis (which begins the doodle in the center of Tomoe River A5 paper), DeAtramentis Columbia Blue-Copper, Jacques Herbin Emerald of Chivor, and Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi, along with solid colors Sailor Studios 230 and 341; Levenger inks Gemstone Green, True Teal, Cardinal Red, and Blazing Sunset; Diamine inks Ancient Copper, Sunshine Yellow, and Syrah; and a mix of Cardinal Red and Diamine Hope Pink. Time to completion: 3 days.
