A bronze piece depicting a man reclining in attendance to a banquet. It was once part of the support for a bronze bowl. From Dodona, Greece and probably a Laconian work, dating to circa 530-500 B.C.

Now on display at British Museum.

Another view of Dawn in Moraira (Costa Blanca, Alicante, Spain) from the Platgetes cove, facing East. The "Cap d'Or" ("cape of gold") slows sunrise in the town, but compensates for that delay with a beautiful show of light and color in every dawn when the sun peeks out behind it.

On the foreground we can see the iron sculpture “Man looking at sea” a perennial iron lookout man, scanning the horizon restlessly from his crow’s nest of stone.I tried to frame it searching for a composition to create the impression that that iron man were contemplating the old Cape d'Or watching tower from the shore.

My 512 new (since last September) photos remain unedited. My "new" PC remains a thorn in my side. Problems and issues after problems and issues. There is something just seriously not right with it. I think I was sold a lemon. Even my new 4TB HDD that I bought with it is not recognised in my HDD enclosure. The rattling and wobbling fan on the cooling loop that was supposed to be fixed is still rattling and wobbling.

I have raised another support ticket with OverclockersUK for my PC. I am on day 3 of waiting to hear back.

Software crashing just days after install on a new system. Drivers crashing just days after install on a new system. My NVIDIA graphics app locking up constantly. My Windows profile being unable to load if my external HDD is connected. Having to reboot time and time again to get my Windows profile to be found. Google Chrome locking up and crashing after an hour or so of use.

I have had many PCs over the years and have NEVER had issues like this with a brand new machine. I have never had so many issues with an old machine either!

It is just error after error and I can't trust it. My CPTSD 'inability to cope with just simple things going wrong' has been so badly triggered over each of these problems that it is making me ill. Properly ill.

I hate this computer and I have barely used it.

That is where I am at.

I am sorry that I cannot share my new work with you all yet. So sorry.

Habe ihn nicht gestört, in Prag.

Did not disturb him, in Prague.

I asked him why he was looking at his phone when nature was giving him a Sundance show.

Thank you very much for your visit, comments and faves!

I really appreciate each of them!!! Have a nice day, my friends!

In my younger years, I was a rambling man, always ready to go where the next adventure awaited. In fact, when I reached my twenties I worried that I'd end up like this bearded wanderer-- cruising the streets in the early morning hours before anyone was about--"my beard a roughened coal pile and a dirty hat pulled low across my head," to quote a Glen Campbell song. Don't know where along the line I got domesticated and house broken--probably when I met Marg.

Clearly, nature is in second place... Every photographer knows the frustration of seeing a beautiful view with ugly utility lines in the way. But, when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade, and when life hands you utility poles, I guess you take a picture of a utility pole.

For Macro Mondays - Sidelit

At first I was angry that the chestnuts fell out of the shell - it was supposed to be a nice shape to another picture ... but after a closer look I discovered this funny face, with a second look I discovered the face of Pac-Man :) Macro Mondays group is a very inspirational and creative group and often gives a lot of surprising effects :)

We have made our mark on the world, but we have really done nothing that the trees and creeping plants, ice and erosion, cannot remove in a fairly short time.”

Pour les bons conseils, pour le partage, pour la bonne humeur, pour ces leçons de poser qui dure des heures mais qu'on voit pas passé. Pour l'humour, et aussi parce que j'ai trouvé ce panda dans le fond de mon inventaire... LOL

Have been concious that I've been neglecting my pinhole work recently so here's one from nearly a year ago.
